So after having my car in the shop for boost related issues. It comes to be that this amazing intercooler has a 4" crack in the endtank weld.

And since I don't have my stock intercooler anymore...

Can you guys help me out at all. I have been a loyal Synapse supporter... But I can't be without my car for another week.

it's a weld failure!

would it be possible to re-weld it yourself as a patch til you can get a new one? I don't know much about welding or intercoolers, just a thought

or JB weld and tune for lower psi so you don't blow it out?

I'll sell you a factory IC'er for 200 for you.

I'm in the same boat and purchased a new one...waiting on it to come in hopefully next Monday :twothumbs

hope you have alot of papers to hold down

j/k tho, it really sucks to hear that you're IC failed. I hope synapse steps up and warranties it or something.

Send it in..They will fix it for free and pay shipping.....Doing the same for mine, and I wasnt the original purchaser of the IC'er

Morgan was easy to work with.

I had one of the first synapse downpipes and the flex pipe on it tore somehow... they paid for shipping both ways welded in a new flex pipe free of charge! Good customer service IMHO!:twothumbs
