View Full Version : ss/tc vs. ss/sc struts?

ordering some suspension parts, and was under the impretion that there is a difference between the lnf and lsj struts... While on the phone with someone from newchevroletparts.com, he said there was no difference in the computer for fe5 struts as far as engine package. Really confused and don't want to get screwed. Any help with this question is appreciated.

LNF and LSJ struts are interchangeable for fit. Damping rates on the LNF strut are 100% superior to LSJ. That is all

numbers may have been changed they do that all the time at GM Try OTTP for a good deal on these.... you are welcome

oh i looked on OTTP'S website, and they dont have any struts but the koni's.. they dont recagnize that pn.

what is you guys technique to replacing the struts. i got my new ss/tc ones in today. do i use a spring compressor and does it work fairly easily?

Yeah... you need a spring compressor.
