I agree the black on white i starting to go old and I will be honest your tc looks sick but I would give white a try. I painted mine the same color as my car and they look awesome.

White is not that different from the chrome. I personally think white out lights would look better than making the headlights stick out even further on a white car by painting them black.

Our headlights are too big and bulky and look like crap color matched. Corvettes are more low profile. Mine are gloss black and if you care THAT much about other people having and which makes you not want to do it. Im sorry for you. It looks good and i can garentee none if not ONE cobalt with a 50 miles radias of you has it done. seems common because the 5% of us owners are on the website

okay you ve convinced me lol. Im going to do the same thing as you did but do the chrome part that u left out white. I also have some questions for you...did you use krylon gloss black plastic spray paint or something else, im asking b/c i was thinking that regular plastic paint wouldn't last long in the hot ass light houseing. So what kind of spray did you use and is your spray holding up good with the hot temps that the bulbs make?

um you sure about that? I live pretty damn close to memphis. And there are two I know of two in my hometown.

Look im not trying to start any ****. I think he should try it and before he seals them throw it on the car together and if he likes it go for it if he doesn't go black. You lost half a can of white spray paint. But, I will say my lights were black and then I painted the new set in the color of my car and they look just as good if not better. And btw, black cobalt's have the corvette look automatically then lol.

I've seen wrx's with white lights on theirs and they look good too. And you don't need hi temp paint I doubt your paint is going to get any where near boiling temps on spray paint. I painted mine with krylon and they did fine.

Just a different spectrum on the color chart...doesnt mean they run "hotter"....now if they are a different Wattage that would change things

I tried yellow on car (painted half of it and put it in the car....it just did not look correct imho...Like the above car w/ white....if the housing was a different shape I think it would work, and look great (but those are just my opinions)

And NPR lmao....went to HS there lol

Well i ran HID bulbs in mine for a while and nothing happened to it. I think normal paint has a tolerance of like 150 degrees...but I could be wrong.

But I say go for it, Be different, Be Awesome!
