18" wheels and the LS

I found a nice set of 18" x 7.5" ADR wheels locally...asked for the wheel width and offset but havent heard back yet...but I was hoping for some help anyway.

Will 18x7.5 dropped on B&G springs ( 2.0" back 1.5" front) work without rubbing?

Also, what kind of tire size is recommended for the typical widths?

Anyone who can chime in to let me know what will and wont work - I thank you!

I'm afraid 18" will look "too big" on the car as well...so pictures of anyone with 18s will help, too

offset looks to be 42...is that okay?

nice wheels ...it looks really good actually with the drop and gap thats there.... thanks.

I ended up saying screw it and got them kinda blind. the price was too right not to dive in. The last guy real half assed painted the wheels black...I'm gonna refinish them in either a sort of gray gunmetal black, white, or silver...havent decided yet. Blue car - open to suggestions on color :-P

I'll post pictures when I get them done or on or whatnot...thanks again man

Haha^^^^ geeze man. I think 18's are a touch on the large side depending on tires. 19's would be out for me lol. Plus the roads are rough enough lowered, less tire is gonna amplify that a bit more im afraid. If so, I cant imagine how 19s would be lol.

what is needed in terms of mounting hardware? I have ONLY the wheels and the centercaps to go with them.... I know I wanna get locking nuts...but whats this I see here and there about center rings and all that?

Any clarification would help...

cool...thanks for the info guys!

gonna media blast and powder coat these...should have it all done for about 50$ of materials and some time...hopefully it falls together relatively quick though.

anyone have a recommendation for good hardware - ie lugs etc. do i need anything besides the lugs to mount them?

thanks...
