View Full Version : Dynoed over the weekend Bl4des 11-05-2009, 12:54 PM numbers are a little low i think that might belt is slipping a little bit http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a331/Bl4desofblood/002-12.jpg kburgess04 11-05-2009, 12:58 PM wow yeah that def seems low. maybe try another dynoe and compare. what do you have for a tune? Bl4des 11-05-2009, 03:11 PM a tune though trifecta i think i my belt starts to slip around 6300 i didnt have my hahn on when i dynoed i had a 2.5in magnaflow and i was able to find out how much timing i am running and i am running 26 degrees without any knock but i was told that might be to much what do other people think lsjwannabe 11-05-2009, 03:17 PM Those numbers are about normal. You are in SAE cf so it gives lower numbers. If you were belt slipping you would know it. The graph does not show signs of it. Bl4des 11-05-2009, 03:55 PM i only boost 16.2 psi at max with a 2.8 and vince told me he saw some belt slip on my logs lsjwannabe 11-05-2009, 04:06 PM http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd185/EPP_photo/Dyno1.jpg belt slip ^ Bl4des 11-05-2009, 04:11 PM so what do you think my problem is. just my tune because i was told that my numbers are low for what i have by the people at the shop and 16 psi sounds to low to ColeJJones 11-05-2009, 04:15 PM yea... my 2.7 was hitting 19.5 at about 7k rpms lsjwannabe 11-05-2009, 04:19 PM so what do you think my problem is. just my tune because i was told that my numbers are low for what i have by the people at the shop and 16 psi sounds to low to Every car is different but i would not say thats low. Thats about the norm for most cars, your tune could be leaned out a little looks like 11.0 to me across the scale to me. Bl4des 11-05-2009, 04:23 PM so i should be about 18psi because that is what people are telling. i think i might have a exhaust leak at the header so that could cause it. i need to check to see if the exhaust manifold gasket is still good because i did have an exhaust leak for a wail but i thought i fixed it. the a/f ratio was about 11.6 11.7 damien 11-05-2009, 10:11 PM You have a header/catback, you won't see 18psi. My money is on the tune as well. Perfect.disguise 11-05-2009, 10:16 PM I have full exhaust and I saw 16 on a 2.9. |
