B&M or TWM Short Shifter?

Hey guys, this is kind of a tough purchase to make. Which short shifter will you choose B&M or TWM for the return on investment? Looking for more reduction on shift travel and more response. Which brand would you prefer?

Just made up my mind. I just order the TWM short shifter. I'll keep a post to tell how it goes.

I was about to say TWM no contest but it looks like you made the right choice anyway!

Yeah, I'm just waiting for the tracking numbers in my e-mail. I order it yesterday and believe it will help out. Plus I order the prothane polythane bushings from turbotechracing.com to replace my factory ones to prevent wheel hop and have smooth shiftings.

Remember to install them one at a time so you can really tell what made the difference. And its more fun that way!

Hey guys,

Bad news for LSJ's out there. I decided to trade in my 07 Cobalt SS/SC and I'm gettting a new 09 Cobalt SS/TC. I still have the parts in the box from TWM and Prothane and ready to be used in my new Cobalt. Good thing I never installed them, otherwise I would have consider that a lost. I haven't decided when I should install them. I'm thinking about after the break in period is over is when I'll do the installment and add the Stage 1 kit. So I'll keep an update on the activity.

Finally, I have my short shifter from TWM installed since Saturday. That was kind of a pain, but its working like a charm in my 09 Chevy Cobalt SS/TC. Had to give it some time for the spring to adjust inside the reverse lock, which it locked but pop in reverse gear. So it doesn't do that anymore, just left my car in reverse overnight in park. Its now acting like ordinary shifter should. 3rd and 4th is much shorter than the factory one. So, I'm enjoying the excitement. Thank you so much TWM for your high quality work and service.
