Does That REALLY Say $0.00?

Wasn't sure where to post this, but if it doesn't belong here, I kindly ask any mod to move it to the appropriate section...
Anyway, while extensively searching through many parts sites over the past hour, I came to see this on BYUNSPEED.

Yup, those are FREE cams for your 2.0. I even added one to my shopping cart to see if maybe it was just a typo or something. NOPE. Still said $0.00 when in my shopping cart. However, I have no need for a new cam, so I didn't order it, and I just thought that this was interesting enough to share.

PS - I'm sure trying to order it for free wouldn't work, as I'm sure they'll look at the order and just say "Hmm..." and make you pay for it. So don't try anything funny...

LMAO. I didn't even see that. How the hell do they post so many things with a $0.00 price tag though? Tempting me to try to sneak a free Corsa....

And we take credit card fraud very seriously. EVERY step a customer makes is recorded and traceable easily. Would you like us to take the next step for you?

And are you selling these products for $0.00? or are you misrepresenting yourself in order to get sales? You know that disclaimer will not fly when people start complaining to their CC company's that you didn't advertise the proper prices. You might want to clear up THAT issue since you obviously have no problem coming here to threaten people. :P

Too many complaints and those CC companies will cut you off and you won't be able to handle Credit Card transactions anymore.

I don't think the false advertising bit would cut it. Do you think the legal people would honestly believe that you expected to get performance cam shafts for free? They would throw it out so fast you wouldn't even know what happened.

It's not false advertising if they charge full price. It becomes an illegal transaction not authorized by the card holder. When you make an order you are authorizing that total amount to be charged to your credit card, no more. If you are charged fees that you did not authorize you have to file a complaint with the CC company, fill out an affidavit and the CC company will do a charge back and log the complaint against the vendor. Too many complaints and the CC company can stop them from doing transactions with that company.

If it's a mistake on their web site then legally they need to notify the customer before they process the order to let them know of the issue and to gain authorization to make the charge.

What got my Ire up about this guy is that he came here and threatened a member, and yet did not clarify why the pricing was the way it was. Which tells me this guy or the company he represents may be trying to scam it's customers. Using a fake CC# is also a serious offense, but mucking about it in a public forum is not the way to handle the issue.

A simple clarification of the pricing issue and PM'ing the guy who used the fake CC# would have been the appropriate thing to do.

or we could all go and but 10 cams each if we get 100 people to do this then they have to sell us the cams or gove us the cams plus the 10 shiping if they say no then 100 peole against one at court we wouldnt even have to pay shipping then
