I'm just curious if anybody has any input to the best tire pressure for all around driving mixed with a wee bit of street racing just around town. I am also concerned with tread wear so keep that in mind when posting please... i am currently running all 4 tires at 38 psi for the nice solid feel, but also for the gas mileage. The only thing I have noticed negatively is the car seems to feel a little "bouncy" when i am approaching and at triple digit speeds. thanks for the info. folks, talk soon...

i personally dont care what I run
but when i do check my tires, i put em at 35 psi
for autocross tomorrow, im gonna put mine at 40 psi or so

make sure when you put air in your tires, they are cold, cuz air expands when it gets hot

Higher pressure will improve handling but you'll lose traction off the line.

Maybe you think 30 PSI is good. Some one else will say 35 psi.

Unless there is some way of objectively testing differences and their effects----its all subjective opinion.

When you take it to the track drop it down a little and pump it up for normal street driving.

Use factory tire pressures for factory tires and suspension for daily use.

Once you start modifying the suspension you'll have to feel out the handling of the car.
