What "stage 3" does this guys supposedly have? I can't see the video since I'm at work, but I have the stock intake, box, filter, etc, and you can still here my blower whine. Sounds like the kid is full of it, or maybe he does have it and can't drive worth a crap. A SRT-4 with just a stage 2 should be a good race with an INTENSE stage 3'd car. A "stage 2" SRT-4 with no other mods runs ~mid 13's here.

that cobalt needs more practice driving and a gm factory upgrade, plus i thought magnaflow only made a 2.5", thats what i got, you cant even get the hp benifits of a 3" unless we are reving past 7k IMHO. I think i could hang with a stage 2 srt from a roll if I had a smaller pulley... maybe even as i am right now... idk about that tho... just to be safe i'd rather have at least a 2.8" and the weapon R race header haha... what can i say stage 2 srt-4s are quick as ****

You're talking about a guy who cant launch and you cut a 2.4 60' at 14.2???? SXT-4's dont count.

Way to represent the Cobalt community.

I'm going to refuse to believe these mods to hold true to this video.. I honestly listened for the whine, and heard absolutely nothing... The INTENSE has a 2.8 inch pulley, granted the kid could have been without an intake and you might not have heard it AS MUCH - you still should have heard something.

I'm not going to let this deter me... Not saying this isn't possible by any means. I still want to see for myself. I am supposed to be running a good friend of mine with a Stage 2 and other choice mods against myself with the posted Mods below.

its very possible. the SRT4 is pretty sweet with stage 2, but from what people have been saying about this intense Stage 3 for the cobalt is that it puts down SERIUS numbers with sombody who knows how to tune it properly, my guess is that its not tuned right, because that did not appear fast at all

getting 2.4 60' and still managing a low 14 sounds pretty good to me, y dont you check out that video i posted on the weapon r header thread and notice a diff between this car on the video u posted and mine. and that 1/4 mile time was just with a cai..lol and i was still hangin with srt4s. the community out here in norcal is massive...check it out for urself www.norcalsrt4.com

No calling BS on that from me, but that M62 sure did sound quiet for all those mods.

dude u only have a cai, so thats great that you werent that far behind, but thats really horrible for that other cobalt that apparently has the intense stg 3 cause it looks like he lost by more then what u lost by.

I agree that stage III wasn't tuned right. Also, I don't see what the point is in running a 3" pipe? You don't need it unless you are making like 350+ HP!!!! 2.25"-2.5" should be optimum for our engine! It is 2.0L, not a 5.7L V8!
