Any updated news on the Hurst shifter? Vendors?
Hello again guys. Does anyone have any new info on the release of the Hurst shifter, specifically for the 2.0 LSJ's? This stock notchy shifter is killing me, and I really don't feel like going with B&M. Maybe one of the vendor's or someone has heard somthing lately? Thanks.
I could have sworn there was already a thread about this...
I also want to know information about this shifter. I know it won't be any different from the B&M but I just want to say that I have a hurst shifter

I think there was a thread back in january about this. The news at that time was that it should be shipping by may or june. We're at the end of may, almost june, and I'm curious if any new information is out regarding this.

My order thru TTR was cancelled because they didn't know when it was coming.
Only time will tell... I hate this stock shifter..

Not trying to hijack , but Ive been in contact with a company called Mantapart on a completely re-engineered shifter assembly ....no plastic
Scroll down to the bottom of the page on the link I listed . They show pics of their shifter assembly .....but , right now its only available for the 2.2/2.4 Cobalts . They said they will have one eventually for the SS with the Saab trans

I like how they got a custom built engine for the 2.2L also that is ready for F/I just slap that **** on and your ready to go supposedly.
2.2 Ecotec Turbo/SC engine- this is a completely built engine-with forged lower compression pistons, billet rods and race quality internals.
Full headwork and HD turbo cams and valve train. HD oil system mods and setup for a turbo drain down incorporated into the block already.
It is ready for your manifolds and turbo or SC- this is a bullet -proof engine!
This is the same engine Gm is making 1000+HP with and is a great engine for a turbo/SC project or a kit car conversion too.
(We can provide a RWD bellhousing for them now too) $3750 + truck frt
