I would just let you borrow it but you have to stay at my house and switch the pulleys but I don't have one cuz I don't have a SS/SC and plus I live in San Antonio lol.

Yeah can I use the pulley puller too? I want to take the pulley I have and put a bigger one on there. That won't be hard, considering i don't even have a supercharger / pulley on my car =\

sorry i missed this earlier
kadumel: ok is it an underdrive crank pulley? if it is then i should be able to do it,
Pin: i also can do the eatons blower pulleys- i have the ZZP puller II

am a certified mechanic working on my engineering bachelor so i tend to enforce my fair labor price

i work at firestone lewisvile 121 and any work i do has to play by their rules
but never sweat helping a cobalt guy with mods

i do check engine light diag, state inspection, brakes, suspension, alignments, motor work, clutches, cooling but no AC yet, some electrical, mostly front end and specific makes such as BMW and VWs(my initials)

but still i work for $$$ and beer, that pays my tool bill/college

Vaughn (match is what im called at work)

Japeater are you saying we will need to bring our car to firestone in order for the pulley to be pulled or will you do it on your own? How much personally and how much at Firestone? I'll be in Dallas next week so I might get you to do it.

to clear up confusion
i own the pulley puller, not the shop
the company doesnt offer this as a service so it would be a cash deal and we would have to play by shop rules

also im gonna hit ya up if ya need tires or have issues(align, state< etc.) to make the shop $ and to have a ticket on your car so that it can legitly be in the shop.

sundays are the best for me cuz im usually the lead tech on sun.

like i said dont mid helping out the local guys but im not selling the shops privelages on the side
and no labor is ever free!

he replaces air caps for your tires too. the labor only costs $350.00 for that... haha jk vaughn!

i recommend just calling him in advance, he is real good about working with people to help them out. plus he knows what the hell he is doing!!! and it doesnt hurt that he is local...

RPM doesnt rent out theirs either
im not in the tool renting business

im in the supercharged ASE Pro mechanic lifestyle

Evan: you need to see this guys lightning, we put a 3.0 on it sun, SFPH i think he said
except his didnt need to pull the blower to put his pulley on, he is gonna get a large tensioner pulley like yours too
he gave me 50 bux for R*R belt and pulley w/ hub

now if someone like had their blower off the car (AND DIDNT REQUIRE THE USE OF MY TOOLS TO REMOVE THE BLOWER)
i would say $30 + beer

If i was taking the blower off pressing the pulley reinstalling blower belt etc. i was thinking
150+ beer and ya maybe could talk me down alil PRIOR
cuz i am assuming a great deal of personal risk and responsibility handling your blower install

any wiring or injector, intake whatever, i would have to check it out before install as those tend to be more time consuming

also as most technicians will tell ya, it costs more when you are staring over my shoulder and asking annoying questions

but i know i wouldnt go give my shade tree mechanic only 10 bux to handle my blower which in case you are wondering is in the $1800 ball park if you can locate one!

but my approach is that you come to the shop I work at for maintenece and service and while your there get your mod put on
hey you guys initially recommended me, that says something.

Hey E, I put in those BKR8s seem to run fine, but the S/C makes some weird turbulent noises past 4.5K. Let me know when you want them.
