Supercharger or Turbo for 2.4L

Do they make a supercharger for the 2.4L cobalt ss, how about a turbo charger?

theres no supercharger..its rumored but inlikely..and hahn is making a turbo for our cars right now

The 2.4's engine has a higher compression, which is more suited for turbo, be patient it is a matter of hahns' turbo comming out this summer

High compression engines aren't well suited for any type of forced induction. It'll be atleast a year or so before anyone comes out with a reliable FI kit for the 2.4.

i seriously doubt this because the solstice kit is already out and the solstice has the exact same 2.4 liter engine its just turned a different way.

Like I said... give it a year to be a nice reliable kit. Some garage rig that works and a kit that comes with good tuning and will give consistant performance are totally different things.

With proper ignition timing, high compressioned engines can run boost fine.

And to spade44, if you have enough boost knowledge, you can build your own kit instead of waiting for Hahn and you'll have all the parts you WANT instead of having a pre-made kit. It's up to you. If you want more info on building a custom setup, read this:
