How much do you pay for insurance?
How much do you pay for insurance?
I'm trying to get a broad idea of the price range that insurance will cost me every month for full coverage on a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged. If you'd like to help me get an idea, please post your year/model, and how much you pay. (Please only respond if you have full coverage insurance) I'm trying to figure out if I need to switch insurance companies to avoid being robbed, as I'm a 21 year old male and some companies care about that a lot more than others do.
Thanks,

There are actually quite a lot of threads on Insurance. I was just hoping to narrow it down a bit to only people who have full coverage SS/SC Cobalts. Plus not everyone has posted in the other threads, and I'd like to get as broad a range as possible. (Plus it's always nice to see what everyone pays anyways, in case you're paying out the nose for no good reason)

I didn't know that you could get cheaper insurance by getting side curtain airbags. Those airbags don't come standard, do they? I thought I remembered them being an option. Maybe I should consider getting them now? Anything to help this insurance go down.

They are an option, and whether they affect your insurance or not probably depends on your company. I think most companies give discounts for safety/security equipment, but I would hesitate to generalize.

p.s. my insurance is through GMAC
19 yr. old male, totally clean record, $250/month.
I used to pay about $360/month, but my mom recently renewed her homeowner's insurance thru State Farm, where both of our cars are insured. Apparently, that gets you a CrAzY discount.

Well, I don't exactly have the car yet, but up here we have public insurance, and according to the rate calculator, with pretty much every option i can get on insurance here, I'll be looking at about $175 a month.
