Angry Noises inside the car!!

Ok so I have a LS 2dr with the 5spd, and I'm getting to the point where i want to take out all the interior, and have bare metal everywhere. I'm talking the rattles and squeaks are crazy loud. My rear window deck vibrates, my drivers door I think it is the door lock pin vibrates, and my dash vibrates the worst when slowing down.
I have to turn up the tunes to drown them out, good thing for the factory sub.
Is anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it? I know it is a chev and it is my first chev product, I love the car but I think for the quality I paid way too much for this thing.

This is not typical and is most likely an assembly flaw.

The dealer will look after squeeks and rattles under warranty. If they pull the old I can't find it trick, ask for the shop foreman to go for a ride with you.

What do you mean? The techs only have to fix a squeak if it actually coming from where you think it is coming from. If it is coming from somewhere other than where you say it is, they will leave it. It is not that they can't find it, it's just that you need to be more general when describing the location of the noise.

Hi orange -

My sunroof rattles - going back to the dealer - I hate rattles......

Also, check that the door rattle might be the outside door handle - put on some thumping music and stand outside the car - my drivers door handle rattles to the base notes.....also a small problem for the dealer to resolve.....

Otherwise, the car is very good quality for the $ - 21k is not all that much to pay for a car in today's world, unfortunately....

best regards -

something rattles when I slow down too. of course my brakes are warped to **** but that just exajurates the noise.

It sounds like it's comming from the engine bay but I couldn't be sure.

I don't even want to start on the outside of the car I'm the only one who drives it. So I want it to be quiet on the inside, but for your info, i did turn it up and get out, the rear spoiler rattles and both door handles. i'm going to take out the rear deck lid today and i have some 3m foam tape going to go around the outside of it where it touches, maybe it will help, and I'm not sure but maybe i frigged up when posting the start of this thread, probably should of been in the general forum, sorry for that. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2061067

The piece behind your rear seats you say rattles? I leave my car seat anchors up 24/7 and no longer hear these rattles. Could just be my car, but I have done it in both my cobalts and worked good both times

I have an 07 SS/SC, and after comin back from being in NY for a day gettin a a new pulley put on and chillen with some fellow Cobey owners (NY = Bad roads) I now have a weird squeek in the driver side dash, I think, def. on the driver side. Doesn't happen all the time either. And when I start my ride up, sounds like the motor has a little too much play on start-up. Like a bad mount maybe..Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, especially prior to taking her to the dealership for a free fix.

for the outside door handles, i took a small peice of that adhesive weather stripping, and pulled the door handle to the 'open' position, and stuck a little under it so you cant see it. solved it
