We are working closely on some REAL awesome Exhaust mods......

We are working closely with Random Technology (Kings of High Flow Catalytic Converters) to make a high flow cat system for the 2.0 SS S/C. We will have some pics, dyno results and EXCLUSIVE special pricing from us to CobaltSS.net forum members ONLY. So please post up fellas!

Just give some background, we brought the TSX converter to market for them. This cat produced a whoping 14whp & 10wtq from bolt on on an N/A 2.4L Acura Motor.

So imagine what we can do with a F/I car?

Exclamation I think I deserve a little credit

I think I deserve a little credit for getting this plane off the ground.

See my initial thread about this: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/general-cobalt-68/2-0-2-2-2-4-high-flow-catalytic-converter-16263/ .

I have contacted them again to see where things stand as of right now. Waiting for a reply.

Dezod has done all this stuff for the Honda and Scion market already. No credit is really due to anyone other than Dezod taking the initiative on yet another make, our Chevrolets. His products are usually top notch too. keep it up Dezod!

Are they going to make a complete bolt in downpipe with high flow cat? One that uses the factory flange locations at the manifold/catback?

This would give us the option to go with ANY shorty header we want, of the ones that use the factory flange location. This would also allow us to still use whatever catback we want.

It'd be the perfect missing piece to our exhaust!!!

I think what we are trying to accomplish an OE replacement cat that utilizes OEM mounting points, OEM sensor positions, mates to any shorty header AND any catback. Much like all of their other pieces.

Yes/No. Their pieces are fairly priced. They are stainless steel construction, and the best cats on the market. You do get what you pay for. They also stand behind their products; hands down. We are one of their largest web dealers, and have an excellent relationship with them and have for years now. So I do think we have some smooth sailin boys.

I do and will take some credit, simply because I've been at them about it for quite some time. I finally started the thread on here to gauge interest among fellow site members. I then, at their request, sent several pictures of the stock set-up. It was then that they were all in and decided to seek out a car. See my thread for today's update (link in earlier post) We are all in this together, we all want the same thing out of this and the more interest we get and the more they make and sell the better off we all will be.
