Hello everyone. I am creating this thread to allow for the organization of those that want to meet up and take pix or vids. We have fun on our runs but they are far and few in between what we can do. Phoenix metro is a huge place and there are lots of locations that would look awesome to take pictures of our cars or do some simple driving videos.

If you guys see a cool place to take pics or shoot some video let everyone know in this thread and if possible post up a mapquest. We can then go to the site as a small pic stop or a large organized photo group.

The purpose really is to get us all out and become more involved as an active group and with people moving here and those new to the cobalt this will be a great experience to learn the area and the car with those I already know as experienced, very interesting and fun people to hang out with.

So get to searching for those cool locations.

Yeah the videos are fun, and I have really good equipment so, if anyone wants to make a REAL video (longer than 5 mins) let me know, so we can get some seriously cool footage and I can use the big guns and make a sweet video!

Sounds good with me, I have a real nice Camera, but not a Video Recorder.

Cameron just let me know when something is going on, and we can meet up.

But good ideas guys, Phoenix is a beautiful city, so lets take advantage of it.

 

empty parking garages make for a good photo shoot place

 

and setting off a **** load of car alarms! I know you said "empty" but theres always a couple cars.

I moved to california yesterday, if you see a car driving around that looks sounds and even has a driver that looks exactly like me, its not me. there now you don't know where I live, yay I'm free!!!

no its not! i just welded it to my throttle body! HA HA HA then I welded the blower to the intake manifold and the manifold to the head and the head to the block and the block to the frame! Its merged with the rest of my car now!

yeah I'd love to see a full racing th-400 atached to an LSJ! The tranny would weigh more than the motor

 

My Dad has a 55 Chevy sitting in the back yard without an engine or trans....hmmm. That or stuff them into our little 76 Vega.

I just watched that video. I didn't realize how deep the new muffler is. Just a matter of time before is breaks-in. Also, I don't think I want to go for a ride with Nate any more.

 

hmm when I saw it while I was in the area for the grand am cup it didnt look like there where many areas to park but the satelite image shows a whole bunch of places to take pics.
