This is the response I got from EXEDY that I thought I'd share with you.

Thank you for the inquiry.
We do not have any sports clutch for your car at the moment. But we will have
stage 3 Hyper single (part # GH02SD) in September, and stage 4 twin clutch early
next year.
We made prototype and GM Racing loves our stage 3. They won time attack last
year with it, and use it for Grand Am Cup now.
I am sorry for bad news but please keep eyes on our products.

Best regards,
Kevin Fujioka

Centerforce stated that within the next 30 days, they will release their clutch kit for the SS/SC. They are still currently testing it at the moment.

No luck for me as I needed a clutch like yesterday, but hopefully the future looks bright for the rest of you guys!

Which company makes the best clutch? I have never had to replace one. This is the first manual trans. in my family since I was in second grade.

I'm highly considering putting the stock one back in for the next month or so, going on my deployment coming up, and replacing it when there is a better selection available.

Here is another issue that needs investigating! Is our slave cylinder strong enough to depress the pressue plate on these stronger units???? Why i ask? I had a spec stg2+, it shifted great, i could speed shift it with ease! A friend destroyed it at the track so installed a spec stage 3+. I have had nothing but trouble since!! It's like the clutch won't fuly release from the flywheel which cause missed shifts when speed shifting. Since we have no adjustments, we need to rely on the save cylinder to depress these upgarded pressure plates. Maybe a newer heavier duty version is needed?

I will be getting the twin clutch. That will solve problems once and for all!

Fast06SS, those are also the same issues I was having on top of the squeal. I could not get the car into any gear if I tried to so quickly. I really want a good clutch so I don't have these problems anymore, but I am scared with the Spec horror stories with the Stage 2's and now you say I'll rid my squeal but won't be able to shift nicely with the Stage 3! I'm thinking that it's time to put the stock clutch back in, take off all my parts and sell them, and move on to greener pastures.

Oh, I just found this in my search of clutch products. I think this might help alliviate the slave cylinder problems, but require some extra effort for installation.

Exedy and ACT were at the top of my list. CM looks good too but hopefully I can wait for Exedy.
