shorty antenna?

Hello everyone. I am looking to pick up one of the shorty antennas for our Cobalt SS. Anyone know where I can find one?

Check any auto parts store. Real cheap, like 6 bucks at Autozone, Checkers, Pepboys etc.

Don't waste your money on a crappy plastic or rubber shorty... buy the real thing... looks 10x better. http://www.shortyantennas.com

Dont do any of these just cut your attena to your desired length and then put a small rubber tip on it. This look is much cleaner, and your reception is not compromised

So... tell me... which looks better to you?

STOCK

INEXPENSIVE RUBBERIZED SHORTY (flat black)

MY SHORTY (gloss black billet aluminum)

No opinions here... no flaming... no offense meant.

Decide for yourself.

I believe mine is a 15"... it's a little big longer than I would like... but I'm very very pleased with it overall...

I was looking for something to just be level with the roof line... this one is pretty darn close.

i removed my antenna and put a tire guage cap on it - still have radio (i only use it to listen to a talk show so i dont care if there is a slight loss in reception - makes my car looks sleak)

I like the look of mine over most any i've really seen...

its actually more of a gunmetal than the chrome it looks like (due to camera flash). Looks sweet

I spent about 10 bucks for it on ebay but i had to drill and tap it to get the right size threads (6mm threading)

I like that idea.

I just cut mine down then used a touch up stick on the tip. Reception is still fine.
