IF you're goiing to buy a kit, but it from Tom at Crate Engine Depot. This man knows how to treat his customers. I got a better price than my own dealer who I bought the car from. Not only that, my dealer doesn't even have a clue where my part is....

CED is the bomb!!!

Cool man, how long did you have to wait total? I have stage 2 on order from Tom. It's been over a week out of an estimated 3 week wait and I'm starting to get anxious. I can't wait for this kit.

Over a month for sure, but that's not his fault. GM is the one to blame in this case. He's throwing in a free T btw for the inconvenience even though the delay is no fault of his...super guy!!!

If you ordered from CED, you should be getting a call soon. Should be shipping out Monday or Tues of next week

Not to mention price...and with the $$ at 91 cents US, it's a no brainer ordering from the US

It's $445 USD shipped. I'll post up the final price when I receive it. UPS only charges GST/PST on the declared CAD equivalent value. So for example in this case, it should be $445 USD x 1.10 = $489.50 CAD x 15% = $73.42 or TOTAL in is $562.42 - the best price I got quoted for Stage 1 was via my dealer -$544.50 plus GST/PST = $626.18

Stage II

Tom called me Friday and told me his was shipping my Stage II. I've had it on order for close to 2 months. The amount of time it will take depends when you placed your order and how many they get. Now I just have to fight the fight with my dealer that it won't void my warranty since it is a GM product and being installed by a dealer. Scheduled install is this Friday and I can't wait.

OK final price came to $489.00 in CAD $ plus $127.36 for UPS fees (incl. duty/GST/PST) = $616.36. So basically the break even price is $536.00 CAD.

So, for all buying Stage 1, if you can pick it up from your local dealer at $536.00 or better, DO IT!!!

Go to Hall Chevy and get it installed. Its a drive from Hampton but it will be well worth it. If you need directions, pm me.
