the upward view thru the trees is really cool....along with the moth....and i like the way you used extended exposure on the water shots....nto sure if you did or not, but using a tripod makes those shots come out 200% better every time....

thanks dude. i used a slower shutter speed for the water shots and used a tripod but it still shook due to the strong current. it made everything around it shake a lil. kinda scary.

the first pic i took while sitting in the car while it was in motion. came out pretty good for a motion shot with not much lighting.

good luck to you on your new hobby. i started out w/ a kodak point & shoot camera as well. it's very addictive and can drain you of your mod money.

Great pictures, like the one from over top of the river, and the moth, just work on the focus to get better clarity, looks a bit fuzzy in some. Was it on auto focus or manual? but nontheless beautiful location and pictures.

thanks for compliments. it was hard for my camera to stay still do to the strong current and wind. they actually moved my tripod a lil therefore some of the pics are fuzzy. couldn't really tell from the viewfinder so didn't notice till i uploaded them on my comp. it was on auto focus.
