You might want to add a poll
Anyhow....not too regularly being that I live in the wonderful state of clusterf*ck NJ
If it does happen, it's usually late at night when no one else is on the road

Never have yet, as I do not prefer a wreckless driving ticket. Not to say I haven't been close.

I hit 135 just yesterday but ran up on traffic fast so had to slow down.

Avg speed on highway is 90-100 if traffic allows.

sadly.. when i drive my car on the highway its about 70-90 depending on time of day, traffic, how i feel that day, the actual day (around here on thursdays u dont go over the speed limit AT ALL) etc.. but i usually hit 120+ at least 3x a week and i would love to cut down on that

i usually don't go above 80, but sometimes get slightly over 100, then slow down... never go faster than 110, and VERY rarely even go that fast... reason being?? i've made only made 5 out of 60 car payments, and you better damn well believe i don't want to pay for a car when i don't have a license

In an Eclipse I used to have, I drove exactly 120 on cruise control for about 20 minutes. Got passed by a stretch limo doing about 140.

The car was stock and didn't even have a turbo. It was on the way back from Six Flags. I was a ******* trying to impress my friends by getting us home in 20 minutes, instead of the usual 50. I was 17 at the time. Now I'm 24 and at least a little wiser.

I gotta be a little careful. Only got 4 more months until I'm 18 and another ticket will send the license away for a year.. I stay about four over. Unless of course I can see the whole street/highway and know that there are NO cops.

I just hit 125 in a 45 like 20 minutes ago! A few weeks ago I did however hit 140 in 35 I swear to god! It was a perfectly straight road, but the damn speed limit was friggin 35!!! Last friday it hit 135 on the freeway along with 2 fellow ss.net members. I'd say I got 120+ once a week or every other.

EDIT* Hey I have a perfect driving record too! Seriously... why are you looking at me like that?

Sweet. Lift laws here in Mass =( actually 4inch lift and 33's are pushing it. Some people get away with 35s and just change tires during inspection time. When i build my next jeep i think i going to try the 35s though.

For freeway read highway, and read only when there is no traffic on nice long straight stretches. Anything else is asking for a serious accident.

(Oh, and I have 12 years of rally and race driving experience. Getting used to the speed in a safe place first, such as a track or closed course makes a HUGE difference in how safe you are at speed.)

Remember, speed does not kill, stupid kills.
