MadFish 06-22-2006, 06:02 PM well, so far its looking like there will only be about 5-6 of us there. I dont know where everyone else ran off to

4drssmikekc 06-23-2006, 01:17 PM My bother inlaw is coming aslo, he has an 04 r/t and a 72 monte (the monte needs some engine work)
Keebler 06-23-2006, 04:00 PM just because i havent seen it posted..how do i get to leawood park? ill be comming south from near the airport. i would assume i take i-29 south, to 635 south, to i-35 south...but from there i would draw a blank?
MadFish 06-23-2006, 05:53 PM Since your coming from up north. You can take I-29 to 71hwy(Bruce Watkins Dr) and get onto 435 from there. Once your on 435, take the State Line RD exit. Head South on State Line and turn right onto College(it'll be the first big intersection you come to over the hill) Take that to Tommahawk Creek(sp?), first light and turn right. Once you get almost back to the highway, you'll see the Park entrance on your right.
You can see the park from the 435 if your heading East bound. Maybe you can see it from the west bound lanes, but if you see it from there, you already miss the exit.
If you get lost, you can call me 816-616-7623. I live out here, so I know the area pretty well.

4drssmikekc 06-23-2006, 05:56 PM the red start ist the location its just as close to it as mapquest would get.
Keebler 06-24-2006, 09:17 AM sweet! thanks guys. cant wait to meet up with you at last lol
MadFish 06-24-2006, 05:59 PM Ok...well, we got rained out. Its pouring down at my house right now and Im about 5 minutes from the park. I thought we were on the southern edge of it and it'ld pass up with nothing. But, oh, well.
We're going to try again for next friday at my place. Read the new meet post. Hopefully we dont get rained out again, but if we do at least we can go inside and get out of the rain.
