04SilvrChvy 05-05-2005, 01:16 PM Did you buy it from University Chevrolet?
GaRsNoW 05-05-2005, 01:20 PM thats the first silver ss ive seen...looks great! just get some new wheels and youll be set
Sweet, I was planning on getting either silver or black, myself. But I found a red one and had to have it right then!
I live in Lakeland, maybe I'll see ya around out there. Just don't get caught racing on Dale Mabry!
Beautiful...I swear the more I see the Cobalt the more I like it. Sliver looks really good, I live in Brandon about 10 miles south of Tampa....All I've seen is sedans and coupes, I can't wait to see an SS in person...

believe me its 12432543 times better in person!
boy do i love silver that looks nice man now its killing not having one.
I can't wait to see an SS in person...
Ya know, Michael Holley here in Lakeland has 1 red SS/SC in their showroom. They had a black one, but they said it sold literally as it was being taken off the truck.
silverSS 05-06-2005, 01:19 AM Ya, i got it from University Chevorelt with 35 miles on it! :-D ...We almost went to lakeland to look at that red one your talking about, but i beleive it had the red inserts in the seats..(which arent my taste)... But thanks for the replies.
04SilvrChvy 05-06-2005, 01:59 AM Damn you...Haha i went to go look at that car last sunday and they said they sold it saturday... I was mad but there will be more i just found out the dealer in brandon should be getting 3 soon.
RockTheSVT 05-06-2005, 02:42 AM Silver is such a hott color for the SS. I think that's the color I'd have to go with.

Yea, I heard about that one. I was going to go look at the one that they had in Plany City a couple of weeks ago but, I got a LS anyways, couldn't afford a boasted car right now... I can wait until Ferman Chevy here in Brandon gets one in, I'll go check it out then.
I just remember when I first saw the new Cobalts on the internet when they were at the Auto shows and at first I thought they were ok, better then the cavy's at least. But when I saw a black LS on the dealership it was so much better looking in person, pictures don't do it justice. In light of that, I can't imagine what the SS is going to look like in person, can't wait... :cssNET:
04SilvrChvy 05-06-2005, 06:38 PM I just called University Chevrolet about a black on that just popped on on chevys website today...cuz i checked last night and it wasnt there, so i called and they said its already gone. Lasted a whole 1 day. I might as well wait till Ferman in Brandon gets one.
I stopped into Michael Holley today, and took a peek at their SS while I was there. Red with red inserts, sunroof, XM Radio, and side-curtains (no Onstar). They've got $23,500 + $3000 "market value adjustment" for $26,500 total.
At least they aren't doing like Bill Heard, $5000 "market value adjustment" and $1500 "Simonz Environmental Package" (wax job) for a total of $29,300. Don't worry, I only payed, $25,000 out the door (with the 5/60k warranty, tax, tag, and title included in there).
I got a great deal on a Chevy Express cargo van from Michael Holley a year ago, so I'm sure it won't be too difficult to bring them down below msrp ($23,500). They're pretty laid back there.
ronstoppable 05-06-2005, 11:03 PM that's screwed up when I ordered my black ss/sc it was $21,500 and my dealer called last friday and dropped the cost to $17,600, I hope my dealer is right cause i think i will have the lowest price for a fully loaded(except on-star) than anyone else ive talked to in these forums :cssNET:
