Not a fan of european cars at all, not into the styling, not into the weight at all....the engine looks pretty cool if you take the 85,000 layers of plastic off but other than that they are not my cup of tea, but yeah I am not sure about what times other than a ss/sc run, but I know the ss/sc can take them relatively easily...

The Cobalt feels in the wheel heavier than is should IMO. If I get into my dad's Audi A6 which is a big heavy sedan, it feels like it weighs about as much as my Cobalt (but thats all in how its engineered). It will out handel my Cobalt and it'll probably get me in a straight line too.

You wouldn't think a big heavy european car would be fun to drive, but it really is. At least in my opinion lol

Of course that A6 has a 2.7L V6 with two turbos

You right it does feel a little heavy, going to attempt to remedy that though...however quick or speedy they may be, I just don't like euro stuff...not sure why, I wish i could say style doesn't factor in but it does...

SS/SC would win. The Merc's auto is a 5-speed (I think), but the car is way heavier than an SS/SC. If you were going from a standing start, it might win because of the RWD launch.

i'd almost suggest to lose the first time and push for a double or nothing and smoke his ass!! haha That's a sure thing as long as you don't miss a gear! Those 320's are def. heavy and it's a luxury car so the trans is multi lockup and will slip like hell. I'd imagine that car will run a mid 15 sec. 1/4 at best! If you not comfortable, do it from a roll and powershift around 5700 or so. Let me know how many cars you smoke him by! Good Luck

the SLK320 is 3000lbs, and has 215hp/230lb.ft

Sound like it could be close, but being an auto I think you should be able to take him.

You will win.
I know you will.

I raced my friends 2006 Mercedes CLK 350 7speed auto with 268hp from a roll and I put two car lenghts on him.

At the track he ran a 14.3 and I ran a 14.2
