i'm normally running about 187-193 while driving. At a light it ranges from 190-195! At first i was worried but then i figured thats probably normal since most other cars don't have coolant temp gauge!!!!

Mine seems about normal- 190 or so while driving, 200-ish at lights.

If this seems high, keep in mind that both of my S10's ran at a constant 210, and never had any problems.

It's within Spec as long as it is within 185-230 range.

With the A/C on though it should really never go above 205 because the fan is on all the time when the A/C is running.

With the engine cover off... and A/C off... she'll stay in the 190's during normal driving... I've seen it climb to 210 when sitting at a light.

With the engine cover on... it runs around 200 when driving.... and 215 when stopped.

With the A/C on... It won't get above 190.

I'm beginning to seriously consider a new set of electric fans or a fan switch.

mine stays around 187. but i was sitting in my g/f's driving waiting to pick her up (i was there for a while) and i looked at my temp gauge and it was at 226. i got scared and turned the car off. when i turned it on i got a "low coolant" message on the dic. took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. haven't had it happen since.

hey iso, were you on an incline? b/c if you were, than the coolent just might have fallen below the senser. Just A Thought.

But, on topic. My car ran at 195-205 until i put the BKR7E's in. Now it's at 190-192 almost constantly, AC or no AC.

Coolant is usually around 180-190. I've seen 236 before, but then the fan kicked on and it dropped considerably.

Mine stays around 189. In the winter it's around 180-183. The weird thing is, if I sit too long, it will go up to 227 (normal) and go back down (normal again). However if I sit again, it stays at 190. It won't go any higher, no matter how long the car sits running.
