What's your trap speed?

Hey guys. Just trying to gauge what these cars trap with what mods. Once I get back to the track with my new setup, I'll post mine. List your trap speed please, and what mods it took to get there. Thanks guys.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it's very important that I know how much boost and timing you see, along with any weight reduction you did, along with what tires you used (street, DR's or slicks) and what size. I'm going to try to make accurate results. If you know you're elevation, that helps too. Sorry for being so picky, but this will help us down the road. Thanks again.

I always had pretty low trap speeds in my SS. I never made it past 103 mph.

how the hell are u guys trapping 98+ with just and intake? ive seen alot of sigs like Mercury's and it makes me wonder. im running 14.6 and im only trapping slightly over 96mph with an intake and ingalls etd (etd since sold)

it really dashed my hopes of triple digit traps in the near future im really beginning to hate my track. slight uphill slope and 1100' elevations might be killing me here. i need to make the drive and hit up a decent track someday

It is very possible. I have personally traped 97.19MPH with an ET of 14.8060, then my best run of the day came in at 96.13MPH at an ET of 14.7660.
I think were a 1000 ft and I believe my car could have done better cause of lack of an experienced driver (yep first time to the track) K&N drop in filter with a few large holes in the air box bottom cover.

that ^ trap I mentioned above was w/ a 3.0" pulley and intake. w/ an intake alone I never trapped more than 100mph.

i wasnt doubting anyone. i seem to be running on the high side of the stock-ish spectrum consistent 14.6 and 14.7 both @ 96. might also be driver error on my part. i need to make more passes. my 60' times suck. they are right around 2.3 seconds, give or take a few hundredths.

dam i feel bad...on my part that is.

i've done quite a bit of work to my car and alot of tuneing and i'm only cutting like 14.1X's..BUT i'm geting 60ft's of like 2.7sec and such so there plenty of power in the ole girl but the clutch is just giveing up so much time. you can hear/feel the clutch slip when going into every gear.....the guys at the track were wonderin how i was cutting low 14's and trapin at 105+ range.....all you guys and your 2.3 or 2.2 60's are KILLIN ME!

I think my car is trapping lower than it should, but with 26x9.5x16 dr's, that's probably part of it. I've never ran my car with street tires, so I don't know what it traps on those. I'm also only seeing a max of 18 degrees of timing to be safe. I don't get any KR, but I trap lower than Rob's, and we've got the same setup. When I go back with my CAI and 24 degrees of timing (water injection), I hope to be in the 108+ mph range, possibly 110ish with the ported blower. Thanks for the input guys, keep the responses coming!

your track going uphill may be the problem ,but i was trapping 96-98 until someone at the track was watchin my car run and they said i was shifting kinda slow. so i slammed it into every gear as fast as i could and trapped 100-101 3 times in a row.

14.5 @ 99.3 with a K&N Filter (E-0777)

Everything else stock, didn't even drop the PSI in the tires.

15.2@93, stock 06 SS/SC at the Texas Motorplex earlier this month. It was 98 degrees outside though and 550 feet. Don't plan on going back until the temperature drops 25-30 degrees
