redsuperchargedgirl 06-30-2006, 03:15 AM So I just decided I was going to go for a little cruise... as all of you SURELY know..... people want to race the cobalts.... it's great.... anyways... I'm merging onto mcleod near my house off of shawnessy blvd/midnapore bridge.... This black turbo silvia rips out from behind me and decides that he's gonna try passing me... being the bitch that I CAN be lol I gear down to second and just give her .... so this guy who thinks he's all cool tries to get me at EVERY light until 11ave downtown.... :lol: it was great! The funny part is when I was at the lights at the stampede (in front of humpty's) the guy stops me and goes... who taught you how to drive, girls don't normally know how to race... it was good.... I don't know what it is with the car... but people ALWAYS assume that it's a boy driving... anyways... I don't know what silivia's are supposed to run, but I've heard they are supposedly quick.... I think they lie! Man... i had this guy by at least 6 car lengths every time... it was honestly awesome.. .Cody.. you would have been proud of me (I figured out my launch :twothumbs :D :cssNET:

im not a big fan of street racing... you know that. Maaaybe once in a while if it needs to be done. But pascale, racing at everylight halfway across town isnt a great idea.

More then likly it wasnt a true Silvia, unless it was right hand drive, and just a 240SX with a new badge, and proply wasnt turboed, if that is the case it has 160hp at the most. If it was a true S14 They are pretty fast 220hp 203 lbs

Saki XL 07-01-2006, 02:41 AM My very first race was against an S15 Silvia with 400 rwhp (he never mentioned the TQ, but man did he have a HIDEOUS WING!!!).
This was a year ago before I even touched modding, yes, I was bone stock, but I assure you with that much power, he had me soiling myself for about 5 or 6 car lengths. They are monsters when built.

no, it was probably a sylvia. theres quite a few down in this end of cowtown. not very many of them are good drivers though ;) still getting used to RHD i guess

girl drivers are like hondas. theres plenty of crappy ones out there, but there is a handful of them that you need to watch out for ;)
no i dont mean girl drivers are bad (or do i... ;) ) but i mean most girls like crap like toyota echos and smart cars because they're "cute"
I love seeing a girl in a nice car (especially when i KNOW they respect what they are driving, not like those rich bitches who got a m3 because its "pretty" and their daddy is rich)

Hey.. it was really late at night, if there was any traffic what so ever, I wouldn't have done it.... I didn't see any cars until I hit cemetary hill.. but I do agree, it was a dumb thing to do!

Good kill then, that takes some skill. On a side not on the PST of the blow off i saw a 91 or so talon thats turbo made the most hanus (sp?) noice everytime it shifted if sounded like a wistle, just horrible.

The are monsters when built right. I know people who SR20DET powered cars that would blow my cobalt away, and i also know people that spent alot of money building motors that ran like shit until they finally detonated and died on them. Its all about how the car/motor is built, and theres also the driver mod as well.
