Filter Material: Cotton gauze

Yuck! Good luck cleaning that filter out if it gets dirty. You'll end up throwing it away since no one oils a dry filter. Dry filters usually are never the same after the first time cleaning. Cleaning with compressed air or AEM's instructions usually don't help.

You my friend are Totally wrong, Read please:

A TRUE LIFETIME FILTER THAT IS EASY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN
The DRYFLOW Synthetic filter is a lifetime element that is cleanable AND retains the same great efficiency after repeated cleaning. The DRY media will not blow through after cleaning like many oiled elements. Our media is so durable that it can withstand almost unlimited cleanings without degrading filtration efficiency. The DRYFLOW’s synthetic media is hydrophobic (resists water absorption), so there is less drying time.

already cleaned mine worked great!

It is a synthetic material, very nice! the description is wrong...the DRYFLOW Synthetic filter’s unique non-woven polyester filter media is independently tested at over 98% initial filtration efficiency (99.4% cumulative efficiency) based on SAE J276 JUN93 Fine Dust Air Cleaner Test Code procedures. Oiled filter initial efficiency is typically 90% to 95% efficient.

mines on its way right now from autoanything.

by the way that is the wrong part you have linked.

Roger from AEM posted a thread a while back promoting the AEM Dryflow for the SS/SC and the dimensions are 3.25 inside dia and 5.00 length.

I believe the part number was 21-2110D

Be careful when ordering ;)
