I won't really be on much during the days this week. I have a week-long class at IUP until 2, so I'm not back at home until 3:30. After that I have 3 papers per night plus 3-4 additional papers to write for the week, so my free time this week is essentially GONE...

OH no!!! Another Pittsburgh thread! I can't keep up...

We were somewhat active in the other threads. I've been actually working today. Plus I've been doing some planning with RL Dan. Turbo talk.

Gotta love the turbo talk. Did you find an intake manifold yet (without buying the whole freaking engine)?

I did the same thing Friday night (went to bed at 3:30 and woke up at 6am). I don't know how I was still awake when we left primantis. Funny thing was I was so tired that I couldn't sleep and was up until 6am anyways.

Well I have been a zombie all day....

I had a rough evening friday trying to get ready for the weekend, and long story short... I hate cutting grass when I have plans... hehehehe

I was soo stoked about racing this weekend, I couldn't sleep well...

Got up @ 6 drove to the track... was out in the sun all day either baking in a black car with black leather and a black helmet.... or out in the sun working the course...

THen after dinner there, went to the bonfire, and actually drank enough to get a nice buzz.... stayed up with my favorite crush until about 2AM and finally called it a night. Slept in the SS ( word to all..... don't.... it's not comfy in the stock seats.. ) until 5:30 and the wake up call I was hoping for never came, so thank god I had an alarm clock...

Raced all day yesterday including a few fun runs, and got home @ 7....

Back in bed for 10...

Whew... I'm beat

I have to get out to an autoX soon! I've been going to north hills to watch for years (went to school with a kid that ran a street mod Talon) and it was the thing to do for a couple years. Now we graduated, he ended up in a company grand prix and I finally have something worth autoXing. I've never been to beaver run though. I hear it's 100x more fun than north hills...

My 1st one was in May, and that was at North Park... that WAS fun.

I spent the past 2 days at BR and that was every bit as fun. THere's a bit more room there, so the courses can get spread out or complicated, or fast... or a combo of all 3...

THe BIG difference, is that BR is a bit more slick, so on street tires, you're gonna have your hands full. They have a street tire class there since alot of the "stock" classes are running r-comps. They allow that as long as they are the stock size wheels ( and tires I'm pretty sure ) , so you will not be as competitive in regular bone stock cars.

Anyway, they both have +'s and -'s, so both are fun. I think the next SCR event is going to be the end of August @ Washington County Airport. It';s a chairity event for MS or MD... can't remember which.

I'll be there, and if the others are still planning on it, we could have a nice pack of SS's.
Dan ( the laser na/ss ) and Alicia I think want to do it. I will be there unless the apocolypse comes.

ouch... Oh.. THAT's what that was... a knife in my back that's being twisted...heheheheh

That's ok George, you deserved to win. You cut a decent light, you got a good 60' and never looked back.

Now Dano... I could've had if I could've modulated the clutch better. I ran him down, but I needed a few more car lengths.

You wait until I get better..... adn then I'll be all over the back of that silver beast.

Not even going to pretend that I can compete with you in an Auto-X event...lol

Speaking of which... next time one comes up you can make... let me know, and I'll go too, and we can switch cars and see how it goes. I'm not afraid of someone driving my car.

I let my cousin drive yesterday on the fun runs and that was a wild ride. He wasn't used to FWD ( his is a 2002 WRX in SM ) and he got alot of wheelspin..

My computer at work won't go online anymore.. wonder if they got wise to me?

Anyway, the saga continues. Got a call from the tire company (owner of the truck that hit my car Friday), the guy tells me he sent the info to their insurance company and gives me the name of a woman there. I call her, she tells me she gave the info to an agent; gives me HIS name. I call him a couple hours later, and he says he doesn't know if the tire company is going to use their insurance or pay the claim themselves, and that he'll let me know by Wednesday. I smell a run-around here...

Just keep on them Mike. Too early to get panicked yet, but they said they'll let you know by Wednesday, if you don't hear from them, call him back.

yes, and also, make sure your Insurance company knows about it as well.

I had someone that hit me, and they wanted to settle it without the insurance companies, and I had already called mine... they told me to let them know if they skip out on it, so they can go after them
