Fix for supercharger discoloration!

Hey guys found a fix for this problem but it is not easy. Alright you need these accesories.

1.Pack of Brillo pads with oxy action
2.Goop
3.2 hours of time
4.Lots of Beer

Alright take your brillo spray it with water and scrub the **** out of the charger do this until you have destroyed 3 brillo pads (important keep it wet with a spray bottle or it will be hard to get off) and your supercharger is a beautiful blue color second wipe it off you'll notice the spotting has become less. Then goop the **** out of the supercharger and let sit for 20 minutes then grab 3 more brillo pads and destroy them and scrub like hell until bright blue again. Then wipe off. And should be almost good as new. I never got it fully off but it helps alot. Repeat as necessary but I reccomend more beer if further action is required.
Hope that helps- GLockglade

Sounds good. My SC is getting that ugly brown tint too. I'll give this a whirl.

Any pics of your finished product?

I used the scotchbrite like maroon 3m sanding pads to knock down the pits from casting halfway (didnt want to totaly smooth it) and mothers aluminum polish to give it a shine. A lot less messy than a Brillo pad.

Any pics? I want to do this, then paint the SC, so next time all I would have to do is spray it clean.

Goop is the ultimate in "remove oil and paint from your hands" soap. It comes in jars with screw on lids. Jar is white, lid is orange, had that stylized picture of a hand as a logo. Really good stuff to clean your hands off with if you do any work that gets them nasty and normal soap doesn't get them clean. Oh yea, it smells kinda like oranges.
