they really dont believe this 2 nights ago i raced a 05 silver GT mustang from 80 to 120 i had bout a half a car on him we went like 4 times each time bout the same outcome! me winning! they think just cause it has my HP its faster!

What they don't understand is it takes a little time to build boost. Our cars are nasty in the high rpm range. We get the most HP up near 6,000-7,000rpms. Look at my dyno in my sig.

Well frankly a stock cobalt won't beat a 98-02 Camaro/Firebird, And the later Mustangs would prove a hard kill also. SO for the most part your coworkers are right, stock for stock.

 

96-04 mustangs ill give you but the ls1 camaros are much faster. you could beat a slush but the sticks should outrun a cobalt.

Thats what ive noticed, there is NOTHING like downshifting from 3rd to 2nd in this car. it just pulls hard! its insane and just flies!
