have you guys seen this??? what a rip off. my girlfriend is looking into one and i said to get a cobalt. They are identical. the G5 GT model doesn't even have a body kit or sweet rims. they're horrible. same interior, frame, outside...everything. man.... GM is amazing...ya know? check it out if you haven't seen it. they're overpriced, too. just cuz its a new model. give it a year. the only difference is the radio and the tail lights. the tail lights look like the 4-door but, with the coupe outline...ya know.. the circles... LAME

 

I think the G5 GT has the best looking rims of any delta body. The coupes have their own tail lights and the front grill is different.

pontiac made a car to look like the cobalt... i never though gm would do that... is there a supercharged model? is there a coupe? does it come with the 2.4... and the new stearing wheel!!! please someone tell me... oh wait someone did tell me.. as a matter of fact EVERYONE ALREADY KNEW LIKE MONTHS AGO!!! i think it came out in canada first though.. then the usa. asorry to burst ur bubble

sorry guys. didnt know when it came out. i didnt know the similarities. it was just mind boggling to me. they're charging a few grand more just cuz its a new model. amazing.she wants to buy it. i said go 4 the cobalt.

 

G5 gt 2.4 came out the exaxt same time as the cobalt, you better catch up

 

umm...no it did not. I bought my car last August (its an 06) and there were no Pursuits--G5's anywhere in Canada

If I'm not mistaken, the tailights are pretty much identical to the Pontiac G6 Sedans...

 

they are pretty much identical, I just noticed that this week

 

The Pursuit coupe didn't appear till 2006 as did the GT model.

The Pursuit base and SE model were around since the beginning though. We leased our Pursuit base sedan back in August of last year.

I don't know what the pricing scheme in the US is but in Canada, the G5 goes for about $500 more on the base model and the GT model is priced exactly as the Cobalt SS. Both get the same features.

 

GM had done that for years; The Cobalt and the G5, the Cavalier and the Sunfire, the Camaro and the Firebird...
