Hey fellas, thought maybe some of you So.Cal guys might be interested. Their is a meet that goes on at the Food 4 Less parking lot off of Cherry and Willow in Signal hill. It was started by the Subaru and Socal Evo guys, unfortunateley the SRT4 guys have joined. Tonight we should have a decent crowd. It's a great crowd, everyone is friendly regardless of the cars we drive (except camaros,corvettes,mustangs and any other v6/v8 trash). If you would like to go the address is 1788 e.willow signal hill 90755. It starts at about 7pm and ends at 9:30-10ish.
Hopefully some of you guys can make it this evening and represent the Cobalt. Attached is a map of the area. See you guys there. Ill be in my STi

KEEP THIS IN MIND GUYS LETS KEEP THE MEET GOING AND BE A BIT MORE MATURE. HERE IS WHAT WAS ON THE SUBARU FORUM AND I MUST SAY I AGREE.
Nothing really against having other cars come out and chill, but it's the people that drive those certain cars is what ruins the meet. i know i'm generalizing, but for this meet i think it's safe to do so. not trying to be a dick or anything, but once the cobalts and the mustang and and even some pt cruiser came in and reved up, all the evos and subies began to leave.
there was a cop there last night patrolling our area several times as he circled the lot, left, 15 mins later came back again, did this several times. and everybody was thinking, "we're gonna get busted cuz these guys like to rev and floor it here in the parking lot" talking with many of the subies and several evo guys (especially first timers), they didn't feel comfortable and said they probably wouldn't come back again. it was my second time, and i'm not sure if it's safe to come around anymore cuz of the attention this meet is drawing

 

ya the meet is really cool I'm the only cobalt out there really wish my fellow cobalt owners would come out it's really cool cops don't hassl as long as u don't get crazy this is more like a mini car show really nice cars I'm gonna meet hopefully with another cobalt at 730 let me know if any one else wants to join the cruise down there pm me and I'll give u directions on where to meet up for the cruise up there

 

How often do they meet? I would be interested going. I live right up the freeway near LAX.

 

every tuesday night at about 9 and its a really good meet... i used to go before i got my lisence suspended...

 

actualley we start earlier then that cblt12 u were just always late lol j/k but the evo guys get there like at 7 so to get there at a good time would be like 8

I gotta say taht this meet was pretty sweet. Ive never seen so many Cobalts in one place before...lol j/k, I meant to say Evo's and Sti's. I swear there was like 30. It was good running with some SRT's, also. Got the jump on one of you guys. All in all it was fun. Thanks for the heads up, and ill try to make it out next time.

Hey Andy I got PM, but I think I deleted by accident. I'm on Vacation next week so I'll be there for sure. I'm in Vagas all this week and will be back Sat.

I'm going to a Car cruise in Woodland Hills with JustStickit124 and the SocalShifters. Just going to see what that scene is like. He said they meet every Sunday.

Man......I cant go for another 2 weeks (finally taking a vacation after 2+years of work 5-6 days a week). You guys oughta try and make out to HIN (Hot Import Nights) at the LA convention center on Saturday night.

forget the whitfield car ,although i really liked his roll cage and rear view mirror camera .THE TIME ATTACK COBALT WAS THERE!!!. MAN THAT THING IS BAD . i need the front lip they got on that car it's perfect.

People show up about 7pm and usually split around 9/9:15 its only Tuesday most got to work early next mornig.
