I ordered the GM Extrude honed header along with your alls 2.5" downpipe with a highflow cat last week and i got them a couple days ago. I installed them last night and everything fit perfectly. The install itself wasnt bad at all. It sounded a lot more throatier with my magnaflow catback. Its a little raspy at high rpms but thats probaly cuz its brand new. I havent heard any leaks (yet) so thats always good. :thumb: Overall i love it so far!

i have the gm exhaust and manifild and seriously considering this downpipe, with cat to finish er off, i just dont want issues or ill be mad!

No issues after a week so far. Its a little raspy when its cold and a little at higher rpms but overall great sound and gain.

I love mine got the 3" w/cat... sounds good, might do the gm honed manifold friday night... but either way I'll be down at c/a , good peoples.

how long and how much of a PIA was the install?

It took about 1 to 1.5 hour install. It wasnt that hard of a install. The hardest part was getting all the bolts on the header. The rest was a piece of cake.

4-cylinders will inherently become more and more raspy as you open the exhaust. Race cars with 4-cylinders are always raspy. The only way to combat that is to use a turbocharger, then the exhaust gets a lower gurgly tone.:)

This is good to hear. I'm getting the GM manifold very soon and I want the CA 2.5" downpipe with CAT. This is great news. Thanks for sharing bro. :twothumbs

do you have a before and after dyno with the new setup?

Ya I think this should be the best setup as far as longevity and reliability. Also, straight plug and plug with no hassles.

One of these days I'll head to the dyno and swap out each piece of the exhaust and see what it does.... just need time which I don't have alot of
