dyno run at CPRacing in CLT.......

just came back from my 3 pulls at CPracing.
3rd gear pulls
only mods are Fujita CAI and the corsa sport exhaust. I wasn't happy with the results but did 211.4 AWHP and 196awtq. car coolant was hot, bout 209F so i think that if i couldv'e gotten the temps down a bit i could see slightly more hp. The car richens itself so much after 5500 rpms, then we almost hit the rev limiter. any other ideas why i could've seen these lower numbers. I can't wait till stage 2 finally gets here.

What kind of dyno do they have there? Sounds like good gains to me.

Just out of curiosity why would you list GM stage 2 as a mod if yo don't have it yet? That's kind of deceiving, you're making it sound like your dyno was with Stage 2 installed...dick.

IT says "bought and pending install:"

not my fault it's on back order and havn't gotten it installed. just shows my future plans for the car, once all the parts arrive, so i'll re-dyno it as i install each mods to get my gains from the parts. baseline is what it is. thus my results with the CAI and exhaust. Thanks for the positiveness.....in your comments, appreciate it.

NJ is NE1 50-state emissions

hmmm
lemme check another.....
FE9 50-state emissions

guess i gotta figure out how de-tuned my car is for NJ emissions. guess i need to call somebody and reflash this **** for NC

Sorry about my post last night, I was pretty hammered. Anyhoo, about the emissions thing, do you guys have emissions test in Charlotte? I know we have to down here on the coast, but I was told it was only in our county because of the military base. I wouldn't doubt that because they're always trying to stiff the Marines and Soldiers.

Possible that you had some mad heat soak issues.

The SS/SC will make power all the way to redline... you said they didn't redline your car... looks like maybe your max RPM is lower than Carlos' max RPM... therefore it will stand to reason that your max HP will be lower. Also, maybe you're running to lean with the intake/exhaust done, and temperature can play a major factor.

On a side note... how much did it cost you? I just crossed 1,000 miles and will be looking to get mine dynoed sometime very soon.

Yeah dude you still have another easy 500 rpm to go. They should've bounced it off the rev limiter. You're making 211 whp at about 5850-6000 rpm. I would estimate that you would've achieved 220-225 whp if they kept going maybe even more.

When I head up to Charolotte I would be interested in going to this Dyno you speak of. There's not a reliable one around here.
