New wheels for me!

Well I just got off the phone with my local dealership and they said my new wheels were there.

I went in for wheel paint issues last Friday, talk about quick.

GM said to refinish them but me and the service guys and the body shop said no way!

They told GM a refinished wheel would be a lesser quality then a OE painted wheel mainly due to the small lugnut openings and the lugnuts being installed over paint rather than a machined surface.

So here we are 7 days later and new wheels are here!!!!!!!

Interesting...mine will be going in for the same issue next week. I have ONE wheel that the finish is coming off of. Lucily it's also the same one that was chipped from the factory but they refused to replace so maybe I'll finally get that one replaced.

Wow, I took mine into the dealership about 2 weeks ago for this adn they said they would call me back. Of course, they never did, so i called back on Tues. and they said they had to call an engineer to find out how to fix them. They still haven't called back. Personally, unless they have changed the paint or something, I would rather have my rims re-painted. We will have to see what happens.

Good Luck, be persistent! I had to get on my dealership for atleast a month before they decided to refinish them. Now I am just waiting on my "new" wheels to come in. Again good luck!
