I bought this car in the middle of may and last night some 17 year old kid rather take his anger out on my car then my face. I argued with him for about an hour and I told him his chance was then to punch me and I wouldn't do anything about it except turn around and beat his ass. Well once I clean the fresh scratches and my car I will post more pics. Any ideas on what I should do? OEM Carbon fiber hood?








anyone ever had bad key marks repaired professionally? how did it turn out?

If you know who did it why dont you call the cops. Or beat his ass. Whatever is best for you.

 

that would be the first thing i would do would call the cops someone did that to my car someones going to pay for it. good luck man on what happens.

 

yeah man.. iwould deff call the cops, and than like after all is done with beat his ass to a pulp there are 2 things you dont mess with... a guys girl, and a guys car

 

i already got the cops involved just waiting on them to call him and him fess up... once i get my money the gutless ***** has a rude awakening coming...

keep us updated.. I'm interested to here what the cops CAN do. If it were to be here, you'd be beating the kid by now, because our cops cant do a thing except for scarf down donuts.

its something we have to do time to time, the cops just let the guy go the same night for rippen us off, so the cops will say "you got a truck take him for a ride to somewhere quiet and **** kick him" so Ill call a couple other guys out on route and scare the guy

they REALLY don't ******* understand what paint repairs cost!

Key marks don't really touch up that well. You would need to get it repainted.

 

This happened to me last May... I still have nightmares of that Sunday morning when I went out to look at my car... Sorry this happened to a fellow Ohioan. Make sure you get a police report so your insurance can take care of the rest. If the keymarks are deep, make sure whoever you get to repair doesn't overspray the filler (or whatever they use to repair) on the rest of the car. Good luck!!

Find some sweet graphics that will fit over the scratches!!!

 

Get all the keyed panels completely stripped and repainted. The bastard should get sent to court on destruction of property. Oh and make use of the carbon fiber hood idea

 

For those who have not seen 27th Element's Cobalt:


I plan on doing something very similar to this if I can bring together the extra cash. I am just afraid that if I have the top half painted black that some orange will still be visible under rubber strips or molding if someone doesn't paint it correctly. I will be doing a full SS body conversion(front bumper and lower lip, rear bumper and lip, etc...)

 

Thats a bad ass ride. I like those rims too.
