If you had an extra $2,000 for your SS/SC

Ok... School is starting next month and I'm expected to get another $2,000 check for "living expenses". Every semester I have taken this check and payed some bills or upgraded my computer or blew it on partying... This Semester I want to put it towards my SS/SC.

From a Stock 06 SS/SC with less than 6,000 miles on it what would you suggest I do?

I know I want to get a GM Stage II. Should I keep the 3" pully or buy a smaller one? What else should I get?

*** Edited ***

I didnt post this to get flamed. I choose to do what I want with my money, you guys are not my parents. Who are you guys to flame me and judge me for my decisions on what I want to do with my money? I work full time at the hospital while working towards my RN degree. I am very independent and I don't live pay check to pay check. All I stated was I'll be having an extra $2,000 comming my way in a month and I want to invest it in my car for better performance.

Wow not to be rude but you're retarded if you blow this money on your car.

If I were you I wouldn't be smart and use it as money to help me get by in college...

i second that. but if you must, upgrade the suspension and wheels/tires first as that will give you more performance for your money.

does your car get you too school and back? if so, take the 2000 and live more comfortably in college. While people are scraping buy you can actually afford food. When people want to go for a drink you dont have to ask for water or cheap out and buy a coke with unlimited refills.

Trust me, the car will be there in 1-2 years. finish school, get a good paying job, then mod the car.

99% of ss/sc owners dont auto-x their car so that wont help much. The car already has very good tires on it ($200,000+ cars use them) so just stick with what plyboy-illest said and you'll be happy.

Or you could always put the money away, save a few hundred more, and wait til Hahn comes out with their twincharger kit in late Fall. Wait even longer and you'll be able to just get a turbo kit altogether. Hahn claims that after designing the twincharger kit, they will then scrap the charger and go turbo only and work on that kit. I wouldn't spend two grand on petty parts that might add 50-60hp. I'd go with something big, try to get your car in a prototype design for some extra/different power adder. Proto's are always cheaper than the retail cost after the product is out, plus they'll add something like 100hp or better in most cases.

wow. if you guys have nothing to say about him spending money on his CAR, then don't post in here. Thats rude, he has made his decision on where he is spending his money and you guys can't stop that.

I would go with a Injen CAI, Ingals Torque dampner, stage 2, 2.8 pulley and 3" magnaflow exhaust. Thats exactly what I'm doing. I want to keep my warranty too. 75000 will last me a long time!

I don't know much about the suspension on these cars or what you can do to help it but i'm sure that would be a good idea to keep the wheels planted so you can use that power!

Well someone on the board told the school what he was doing with the money, and he lost all his money. Your a moron for telling people that, you should of just asked what you should spend the 2,000 bucks on. Hope you dont lose your scholarship or whatever this money is coming from.

no point on spending the money on stage 2 if your going to change the pulley anyway,

GM stage 1
idler pulley
hub and 2.8" pulley
3" exhaust

or

Intense stage 3 or 4
3" Exhaust

if I had 2,000 in mad money, i'd use it to help pay off my car quicker and sell / trade it for something else. dont know if you owe anything on your car, this is just my personal experience.
