true, but just cuz of the interior/fit and finish it got third????? it pretty much won everything else.
no leg room............??? i bought that car cuz it had tons up front, to me i think it should of been atleast second to the gti.

Yea i believe it could haave got second, i dont see why it got pushed back so much because of the shitty interior, i didnt buy it for the interior, i bought the balt in the soul purpose to make it go fast no matter what and look good doing it.
the interior isnt that bad though, it looks nice, just the materias used arnt as good as the others i guess, i only have one issue with the interior, it scuffs too easy, thats it, when clean it looks top notch, thats just me though.
I agree. The Si had the lowest top speed. And all the "performance" aspects of the Cobalt beat everything. Handling, Speed, Shifting, Braking, and MPG. I don't really get their ratings. But they were dead on with the GTi.
Gee, what a suprise. I'm sorry, I'm 6'3, and I have plenty of room in my car. The interior is fine to me, its not a 30k plus car, how good does it have to be? Not suprising that a bloated VW and a low performance honda would win. For the price, Cobalt takes the win.

I read the whole article, and it was horribly biased. I knew the GTI would win from the first sentence I read. What's wrong with our interior, is there a car in this price range that doesn't have a plastic interior? I think the fit and finish on our car is pretty good. But anyhow they had to skimp somewhere and for a forged crank, re-enforced block and those magnesium filled valves, I say it's worth it if someone thinks the interior needs work, interiors don't make horsepower.
At least they criticized the TC for it already well documented faults.
Isn't the supercharger on the TC a TRD part. If they are going to help the TC with that then they could have at least tested a Cobalt with G85 that should have helped the small cornering problem they mentioned.
Also, they don't have their facts straight. There is a wing delete option for 2007.

That was a cool vid...Cobalt blew them outta the water if ya ask me. I just found something on the Autoweek website some jerk just totally ripped the Cobalt SS S/C apart and pretty much tried to offend buys of the car. Gee i wonder if this guys is biased. Check it out for yourself....The second guy tried to defend the cobalt and reccomended it to anyone looking in the sport compact market so good on him. Enjoy!

That Floraday guys has some good smack, and he's not afraid to use it. I'm quite sure he wouldn't back those claims up with a stock for stock battle at the track. He knows the Civic would get owned and the Cobalt would win or run really close to the GTI.
I love how you guys ignore the things that are said that don't fit what you like.
In the video, they said, "The front suspension was coming unglued" and that it lost in almost every segment of fit/finish and quality, not just interior.

EVeryone uses plastic because that's what's cheapest and gives them the most money, period. It's a biased report and that's all there is to it.
YEAP!! biased 100%
