yeah, work keeps me in doors during weeknights with the exception for an occasional wing night, and PRP on Wednesdays.

Weekends are when we're most active... and Dave likes his fish better than us on the weekends...lol

How many Quarts is our brake / clutch system?? I'm planning on flushing out the system very soon and getting some DOT4 for it, but need to know how much to buy.

Since you've done your clutch (2times) I figured you'd know.

 

I'd strongly suggest upgrading to steel braided lines first, Brian. I did that and stuck with DOT 3 and it was about a 200% improvement. Do both and I'm sure it'll make a world of difference. Also, not sure what the highest is you can run in the lines w/o improving them.

 

I'm usually around in the evenings, not as much during the day. I'm up for stuff as long as it's cheap or free.

Well, as stated before... I won't do anything to the car just yet that will take me out of stock class, so the lines are not going on.

Also, I've talked to alot of others about the lines, and the only thing that those help with is pedal feel in most normal circumstances... YES.. they DO help with pressure in open tracking, but for Auto-X and street driving, everyone is telling me that they don't make that much a difference.

DOT 4 is mixable with other fluids from what I've read, so I would say I'm safe using it with the stock setup. If I went higher, then I would consider upgrading.

me and shaun wanted to go out and play and couldnt get on the site last night so i figured nothing was going on. we took a little strole through perryopolis and uniontown to see if we could catch anyone who wanted to play cuz i got my CAI on yesterday and was ready to play. I only found a hatch back Honda. i think he might have been confused on what he was going with cuz once i took off... well he disappeared. lol but thats all we could find with only driving around for an hour or so. im now good for during the week events. no getting up at 4 am for a long long time.

 

Well Karla, you should be able to have some fun tomorrow night at the track, and not have to worry about the LEO's clamping down on ya that way either....

Looking forward to getting the car out and putting some miles on it.

Karla, stay away from Perry. Not a lot of action and the cops there are royal ****** with a bazillion hiding places. If you need help finding action in Uniontown, I can definitely help ya out there. There's a LOT more down there than there is in G'burg, mostly cause there's NOTHING else to do in Fayettenam. There's also a lot more wide-open highway to run on. I don't know how many of my old buddies still run down around that area, I know a lot of them have moved away, but the same "spots" are probably still popular.

 

I'm heading to Cleveland this afternoon after work, so I won't be around. Taking Ed to pick up his SRT at the shop there. Should be a nasty little car after this. Estimates are running around 430 WHP on 94 octane gas.

Should be able to get way down in the 12's tomorrow night as long as he gets traction.

 

yeah i know about perry. shaun used to live there so we know about the cops down there, we just strolled through to see if anyone was out. he also used to live in uniontown but there was noone out there either. we went through brownsville and thats where i caught that honda's eye. so.. i wasnt really speeding around too much. rt. 40 was pretty much it just to hear my intake. and yep i do like the sound. i didnt think i would but i do!

 

Yeah well i dont understand the women folk eithier, and if she is gonna dump me then i am done with realationships cause to me it seems all love equals pain.

Hills Plaza on 51 used to be THE place to go in Uniontown then a group of high school rejects started coming out there and fucked it all up. Totalled a few cars, one guy got messed up pretty bad showing off on a bike. I don't know where they've all scattered to now. You can still find stuff on 51, you just can't sit around that Plaza too long cause the cops like to sit at Subway now. And stay away from Sheetz on 40, the cops like to be ******** there, about 60% of the time there's one guy that's assigned to patrol THAT parking lot...that's all he does.

There used to be a group that would sit out at what used to be Rax, then was a Mexican Restaurant (which was a front for a drug ring, LOL), then it was just empty out by Red Lobster in front of the mall. We used to sit at the bagel/donut shop there (which ironically you would NEVER see a cop at...) and wait for people to drive by and go after anything interesting. That used to be the unofficial race spot, if you wanted to get anything you could pretty much just drive by and you'd get 3 or 4 cars at a time that'd want to run, but then the bagel shop burnt down, I don't know if there's still as many people who sit out there or not.

When I was getting out of high school it used to be everyone would just roll around town till you found someone that wanted to race, then you'd go out to 43 from Morgantown Street to the Fairchance exit and race. Some people race on 40 past Hopwood, but there are a few tricky places for cops.

LOL when I was still IN high school we used to be dumbasses and stoplight race on the strip (Fayette Street from 5 corners to the high school, up to Main Street, back down to 5 corners). Right past the courthouse and police station -- DUUUUUH.

Then there were the summit races up and down 40...

WOW...memories. Anyway. If you guys ever head down there one weekend, let me know - if I'm down around there visiting family or whatever I might have to go out, just out of curiosity to see who all still runs around out there.

I was feeling/saying the same thing after my last relationship, and it's still hard for me to get over some of the **** he did, but it comes with time.

Don't assume she's dumping you either, at least not yet. Sometimes space can just mean space.
