Alright, p7x has just informed me theres a car show going on in my hometown...how odd that i wouldnt know about it but who cares...anyway....car show is free...nice grounds and i know some nice rides will be there....anyone with a cobalt def welcome...i will open up my house that day to anyone willing to come out...

like i said...car show, kemptville (25mins south of ottawa), free, nice rides and could give exposure for some cobalts in the eastern ontario area...not much so far as it is...

The show will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday August 13th, 2006 at riverside park...

Black dot - riverside park
Red dot - my house


Sry about how shitty this is, my work comp only has paint....

directions - river side park - 416 south, take kemptville exit, right at the end of the ramp, follow rd around traffic circile to the lights, turn left, follow that rd (cty rd 44) till it end, turn left, quickly turn right onto the very next st or prescott st....follow until u reach red brick church, turn right..this road takes u to riverside park...

directions - my house - 416 south, turn left at the ramps end onto cty rd 43, follow for 2km, past tackaberry, on left theres a stone statue, sign will say kettle creek, turn left onto Kimberly avenue, follow that road to house number 16

I thought I would take a moment and welcome you all out to the Kemptville Car Show.

It is a nice drive from Ottawa and there is going to be a great variety of Cars, Bikes, Trucks and exhibits.

Also being a Cobalt SS owner it would be great to see some fellow owners. I will be putting together a whole venue for the Sports Compact and Tuner Cars for next years show.

show is free, we can all register and take part, so now all we have to do is show up....im thinking we can meet up at my place and than head on over....

alright cool, organizer i spoke to said that as many cobalts from ss.net are welcome and we can throw em all together...as it makes sense...on the field....

guys figure out a time?....u can call me at 298-2909 in the morning or whenver ur heading out....organizer has informed me that if we want the cobalts in same gen area than we've got to go in together...so...w.e i dont aprticularly care just let me know..

 

Im really sorry. I had a bad migraine and didnt leave the bed Sunday.. I hardly ever get them, havent had one in a few years. I have been burning the candle at both ends and it finally caught up with me.

 

Thats cool man...but next year....this car show is going to be a good/big one....there were some sweet old mobiles there....vette stingray, classic camaro's, suped rx-8..lol..and this one huge *** with his hyundai accent and airplane wing...he put a trophy on the top of his car to make it look like hes won ****....it was funny....they also had some top end drag racers....it was nuts...wheels were like 2 feet wide

Next year...ive been asked to help get together the Sport Compacts...so i would like to get alotta cobalts as well as some other competition out...great venue, nice park and everything and well we cant control the weather but if its what it was like this year than it will be great
