Question Newb with Cobalt questions

Hello all just joined wanted to say hi,...HI!

Ok now on to the questions, I currently have a 04 Cavi LS and its nice and all but i'm looking at ordering a Cobalt SS 4 door monday from m work (I work at a dealership)
I'd like to know how you guys like your cars? Is the 2.4 a good engine or does it have any "ISSUES" I should now about before I order the car? Finaly the car will run me about $17,000.00 and my trade in would mean I have to finance about $9000.00 so the payments would be about $180.00 a month, Is the Cobalt SS worth the payment in you guys opinion?

The Cobalt SS I speced out is the 4 door in the Red Sport paint with a sunroof and an automatic. Worth it? or should I stick with my Cavi?

Thanks.

I went from an 03' LS sport Cav to my 06' SS/SC, sure the payments went up but in the end you'll love it way more than your Cavalier you have now...I promise you that.

I say spend the extra 4k on a SS/SC and you'll be even happier , unless of course your on a tight budget. Never drove a 2.4 SS so I cant comment

Thanks guys. The only reason I'm why I'm getting the 2.4 is cause the 2.0SC version isn't avalible in the 4 door. I got 2 kids and a new puppy (kids are 10 and 14) so a 2 door is alittle tight. Thats why I'm thinking of unloading my Cavi.

I think I'm going to order it monday as soon as I get to work. It takes 6 to 10 weeks to get the car but it will be exactly what I want so I think the weight is worth is.

I test drove a 4 door before I got the SS SC, it was very nice and rode great. It was the loaded one, with every option known to man. I say get one, the 2.4 is a good motor.

I've got an '05 sedan. I'm only 6'1" and I've got to have the seat all the way back to be comfortable. That leaves about 7" of leg room for back seat passengers. I don't know what your Cav was like. I don't need a back seat, but I need the car for work, and I haul a lot of computer junk around so it's easier access with 4 doors or I would have got a 2 door.

why not look at an Ion Redline so you'll have extra "doors"?

Im seeing more and more 2.2 SS's around here. They suck *****. Buy an SS/SC silver. They look the best IMO

Um, did you mean 2.4 SS? I've never seen a 2.2 SS or heard of one either. Not flaming, just asking.
