The WI J-Tuners Monthly Meet for September will be held on Sept 17th at Whitnall Park in Hales Corners. This meet is being held in conjunction with the Wisc_Jbodies.

2:00PM = Meet up at the Park N Ride on Hwy 100 right off of I-43.
3:00PM = Grilling out at Whitnall Park. (If that parking lot is full, we will move down to the one in the Root River Park System, same place as the last Milwaukee Meet).

Basic Directions:

From The West, Take I43 and get off on the Layton Avenue Exit. Take Layton Avenue to Hwy 100 and take a right. Hwy 45 merges with Hwy 100. Go down Hwy 100/45 and take a left Kay Parkway (right past the McDonalds on your left. Then take a left on Whitnall Way And a right on Whitnall Park Dr.

From the North Or East, Take I894 to I43 South/West. Get off at the Hwy 100/Hwy 45 Exit. Go South on Hwy 100/45 and take a left Kay Parkway (right past the McDonalds on your left. Then take a left on Whitnall Way And a right on Whitnall Park Dr.

From the South, Take Hwy 45 North to Kay Parkway. Take a right on Kay Parkway(right before the McDonalds on your right. Then take a left on Whitnall Way And a right on Whitnall Park Dr.

how big a grill we need? because i got this small packer grill we can use that is good for tailgaiting or do we need something bigger?:poke:

the last milwaukee meet had a good dozen to 2 dozen people there and someone brought a small weber grill which worked really good. the last meet we had, i brought a small tailgater grill that could do like 6 burgers only at a time. it worked alrite but then again there was only like a dozen people there.

I was planning on meeting at the park n ride for the cruise.

just take i94 north and once you get into the milwaukee area, the interstate splits, you can either go north on i94 or west on i894, GO WEST ON I894. Then it'll split again where you can either go north on I894/I43 or south on I43, GO SOUTH ON I43, right after the ramp onto i43 there is an exit for hwy100/hwy45. take it and get into the far left lane. when you get down the ramp you need to cross traffic and go north. the park n ride is on your right hand side right before you go under the interstate you just got off of.

sounds good, i have my grill, utensils, grill lighter, and two bags of easy light charcoal. someone will have to grill for me though, cuz the g/f has to work and i'll have the little guy by myself there.

there's 40% chance of rain sunday so far. I'm hoping the storms get pushed back a day. as long as it isn't severe thunderstorms, the meet will go on. last year the meet we had in milwaukee at the same time of year rained but we still had 20+ people show up.

Well I had fun and got a few pics before the cam died. I dont know what happened to our Cobalt representation. But It deffinately was funny seeing all the people react to the endless line of cavis/sunfires/cobalts.
