I was wondering if these Kazera wheels will fit on a 2005 LS Coupe?
Specs
Size - 18x7.5
Bolt Pattern - 4-100
Weight - 21.2 lbs.
Offset - +45mm

Below I have a pic of what they look like, and an example of what they look like on a white SRT-4, do you think they would work on a yellow LS coupe?

You can't see the pics? I posted 2 pics, one of the wheel and one with the wheels on a white SRT-4 as an example.

Hey whats the difference between clearcoat and a powdercoat. Also which gives better protection for the wheel and which is easiest to clean?

Thanks, have you ever heard of Kazera wheels? They sell them on www.tirerack.com and their made in South Korea. I'm not sure what kind've quality they are though, and if they're powdercoated or clearcoated...

clear coat is just like what it sounds paint & a see through top coat to protect the paint under the clear... Powercoat is a baked on paint, if im not mistaken

Are both a good form of protection?

Here's the website link... Do they look like good quality?

well clearcoat has the advantage of having a few layers onto of the actual color to get damaged, its a very similar process as what your car is painted with. The powder coat is just there without a top coat. Although it sounds like clear would be better i think powdercoating is a little more durable(dont quote me on that last part), b/c like your car the paint scratches easily from rocks and stuff.

Do those wheels look like a good quality wheel? I can't tell if their clear or powder coated...

according to there site http://www.kazera.com/ they come with a 1yr finish warranty, i dont think it will be worth much im sure they will chauk it up to excessive wear or some b/s like make you pay shipping both ways. I dont know if it is a clear or powder coat, it doesnt really say on there site.
On another note I was always a sucker for chrome on yellow, always thought flat black never looked right & the machined lip makes a rim look smaller in size.

Good point Soldier!! I'll give em a call tomorrow and see what kind've finish they have. Did you see the pic of it on the SRT-4? I thought they looked sweet myself. If you head to www.tirerack.com you can see them on a cobalt. Again I thought they looked great on the yellow coupe LS.

A clearcoat is usually applied over a liquid paint so protect it and add more gloss to the finish...a powdercoat is actually powdered paint that is shot onto the wheels and is much more durable than liquid. Both types are baked in an oven at a few hundred degrees. For wheels, powdercoating is more pricey but a better choice as far as withstanding the elements goes.
