And I Take It This Is For The 2.0ss/sc?

I would think it would work with all Cobalts considering the bolt pattern and general positioning is the same on all engines.

Looks VERY nice, by the way!

I'm only guessing here, I don't work for Hahn. I believe the header was designed using the LSJ head, but is compatible with all Ecotecs that DO NOT have air injection. The L61's starting in 2006 have air injection, which requires a different mounting flange.

This is high quality stainless, perfect tig welding, tuned-length primaries, rotational firing collector. This isn't just some thrown together crap mild steel shorty header. For that I'm willing to pay.

It looks great but i would never pay 5 bills for a shorty header unless i see prof of real performance gains over a race header or the J-body header. IMO

Yea i am currently waiting on my xtc 3inch d/p without cat, and need to find a header to go with.

How about a group buy.

Cobalt Addiction just sold 18 B-pipes on a group buy - that means there's a few of us looking for a shorty.

Make it a sweet deal and we'll all line up!

I love this header. I have had it on my car now for about 6weeks and no problems. The sound actually gets more aggressive as well as the power increase. Yes the price it higher than some others but you are getting your moneys worth. I was one that got suckered into the TOG purchase and that was over $400. The is way better than that header. You get Stainless, and a great company name behind their product. To me that is worth it. Sure buy the pacesetter and see how long it lasts you before it rusts out.

To many people complain that we have no quality products for our cars. Then when quality parts are released those same guys complain about the price.
:wtf: :poke:

I plan on getting the auto turbo kit too, soon after its released - or maybe a wee bit later.

But until then...

Plus being a quality stainless part, I'm sure there would be a market for a barely used one with the 2.0 guys on a budget. ;) It's either that, or buy a cheap one and discard it when I'm done.

"The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten."
I used to have this saying printed at the bottom of my service tickets.

This blows! Which means that most likley the ain injection people (including me) will get screwed out of getting a headder made for our cars..... Because why would a company make a product that would only fit a few cars.

The flanges are magnetic, the collector is magnetic, the primaries are not magnetic, I dunno how to tell apart from that.

Here is the collector, 2.5 inches.

here's some info

http://www.azom.com/details.asp?ArticleID=1140

typically the more magnetic the stainless steel.. the lower the corrosion resistance. I can go into detail.. but this is a good rule of thumb.
