Relocating CLimate Control?
Relocating CLimate Control?
Hey I was just wondering if anyone has relocated their climate control unit. I know this sounds kinda strange to do and many are prolly asking why so here is my idea. I wasnt to take the factory radio out and put in a 9" Monitor and hook up a PS2 or somethiing to it, then remove the climate control and put an aftermarket headunit in that spot. So needless to say I dont really know where or how I would relocate the climate control. Any Ideas are more than welcome. Some may be asking why not just get an all in one unit and my response to that is:
1. Everyone does it.
2. Can get a stand alone monitor for cheap.

There was a Cobalt on cardomain that had something like that... the HU was where the HVAC is now located and there was a seperate monitor above it... the guy put the controls in his glove box...
I would search around for it...but I'm at work...

I saw another person before that had remolded part of the console arounf the cupholder area for for the climate control. I'll have to see if i can find his cardomain site. I think he was on her about painting the door trim or something. I'll post my findings
EDIT:
I found it. I think there was a better one done similar that had only the knobs showing
