Ok so here is a sneak peek at what we will be releasing late next week. This is a Throttle body spacer made out of 1/2" Phenolic material. This spacer will allow you to tap a port for nitrous or Methenol Injection or both. Putting the port before the supercharger makes it so the methenol or Nitrous will flow through the supercharger thus cooling the supercharger down greatly. Also if you dont plan on running the Meth or Nitrous , these will keep your throttlebody much cooler as it will not get the heat from the supercharger.
This will work with most all the intakes currently available because it only adds a 1/2" spacing to the throttlebody and most intakes have enough slack in there couplers to accomadate for this. If running Methenol you must use a solenoid between the jet and the pump otherwise vacuum from the supercharger will pull the meth into the supercharger even at idle without any switches on (which is bad). We will also be selling the solenoids for the meth kits($54.99).
We dont currently have final pricing yet , but with the bolts needed and the 1/2" phenolic spacer (not tapped) the price will be somewhere around $50.00. Tapping the spacer for Meth will be an additional $10.00.
These pics show the spacer with the METH fittings installed( THE SPACERS DONT COME WITH THE METH FITTINGS)
Hope you all enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cssNET:

Will you tap any side of the spacer we want? I don't lke where you have it setup on Paul's car.

Also, do we need longer bolts for TB to S/C? I would think so.

yes it comes with longer bolts as stated and yes we can tap where ever you want :twothumbs
Although the other side really is blocked by the throttlebody . Tapping the top isnt a good option because its too thin of material there. That side is the best side to tap , but if you did want to hide a nitrous jet on the other side in sure that would clear as they are thinner and most are angled nowadays.

Sorry, I'm illiterate and can't read. That's why I missed the part about the bolts ;) Thanks.

It works pretty damn good.... I have to reinstall mine this week... just gave my bolts to a friend.... (I had my car apart for the last two weeks)... but yeah the solonoid upgrade is important.. we tried installing it without and with the amount of vacuum created behind the s/c ... it was flooding the motor out...
but with the solonoid upgrade its all good

Did anyone install this on a ss/sc that is not meth/nos injected? If so does it help anything? Any gains? Cuz alot of people say alot of differant things.

Looks great from what I can see. Is the jury still out on the methanol on the rotors being bad or what? I'm still iffy on this one myself.

06blackg85ss - Are we going for 300whp again? I hope you can nail it this time with the methanol injection!

Will you guys be making a spacer for the supercharger itself so we can spray after the blower?

they are actually working on a s/c spacer too... unfortunatly the intense one is too thin to tap for the meth.
after running the meth for a few months now.... I took my s/c off again.. no visible signs of ANY damage... rotors look fine no chips... no fading... only thing is my intake manifold is a little blue (I was using a mix of -20 wash fluid and meth for a while)
Hoping to hit that magic number of 300whp next time out... with all the tuning I've done in the last week, plus with the met actually spraying into the car and not outta the headlight... I think it should... maybe a little 100 octane might help me over.. but I want to do it on pump gas...

well intense made it for that purpose...This spacer plate is CNC waterjet cut for perfect fit and finish and raises your M62 supercharger by 1/2 inch. There are a couple of advantages to installing this spacer kit. The first is that it will allow you to tap a hole in the spacer to install water injection, nitrous nozzles, air temperature sensors, etc... and the second is that it will effectively reduce the belt size by aproximately one inch allowing you to take a lot of slack out of the stock belt.

anyhow its there :twothumbs

I dunno... I had one to play with... even rob (fast06ss) said it was too thin... perfect for nitrous though... ever see the size of the meth nozzle.... its pretty damn big...

unless they recently made it thicker

well the ones I have on my srt-4 are small they would fit no problem, probably depends what you use...
