CHECK THIS OUT GUYS

Has any one ever heard of the CO2 system? I like the idea that no carbon monoxide enters the engine and how i chill the intake air and all the add on they have for the kit. And if so post some advise or experience with the kit. This kit sounds interesting!

seems interesting but i doubt it does better than nitrous and my kit was cheaper anyway. CO2 doesnt provide as much oxygen as n2o. Thats what makes the engine really work well..colder air is good but more gains are possible from n2o...sounds like a "safer" setup though

It might be alright for the 2.2 or the 2.4 engines, but only at low to mid throttle. They said on there that at WOT it reduced available hp. I don't know if it would even work on the 2.0.

How? A simple solution. CO2 displaces oxygen. When released anywhere near the air inlet of a car, it will displace the oxygen being drawn in by the air intake, thereby slowing the car down. This is why it is important to get the leftover CO2 as far away from the engine compartment of your car as possible. And, what better place to put it than under the hood of the car you're racing? Cheetah Jets are a system of nozzles that expel the CO2 out and away from the sides of the car with a Cryofuzion™ system. With a range of up to 20 feet, the CO2 is then ingested into the intake of the unsuspecting racer beside you. You've got the holeshot... you win the race!
here's what ^^ was talking about...

Evil Idea! Just get a CO2 sprayer and 2 directional outlets, one on each side, and spray it at who you are racing. :guns: Hell, you can get CO2 fillups at any paintball supply shop.

yea right... that is bullshit... if i was racing and someone started spraying shit onto my car i would run them off the road...

i could see this to work if you made something to cover your intake like an extra sleeve and shoot cold co2 into the sleeve that way it just cools the incoming air, but i would just rig me something up from paintball parts, so i would see how the intercooler sprayer would work cooling the air but o well

I was being sarcastic. Why screw up someone else's ride? But I'm willing to bet some little ricer has something like this somewhere.

Its cool. The only purpose I can really see for this is keeping it cool before a race. And the discharge could screw up any vehicle nearby. Including yours if the wind shifted!
