We do not do the reflash and dyno for our $199.99 price . It is a packaged tune. We have them setup for the different stages which cover everthying most people are doing . If you want a specific individual tune then you are around the same sort of pricing as tune time maybe even alittle higher as the dyno time here on long island costs alittle more. Tune Time's price of $350 with the dyno time is actually very good deal for a custom individual tune. I wish our dyno shop could give us that good of pricing on renting the dyno , lol
:twothumbs up to Tune Time

I paid $400 for a custom tune down here, and there ended up being at least 10 pulls on the dyno before he was done, didn't charge me extra either. I'm sure they normally would have, but I had been sitting at their shop for over 7 hours before he started to tune (he didn't have the config files and licensing for 2005's as he thought I had an '06, had to wait for his wife to buy, d/l the files, and then email them to the shop).

I am not a fan of mail order tunes.....what kind of guaranteed numbers can you give to me? Money back guarantee if not?

I am not a fan of mail order tunes.....what kind of guaranteed numbers can you give to me? Money back guarantee if not? What are your mods ? & No on the money back you came to us for a reason and we will deliver but we aren't responsible for people's [ not you directly ] unrealistic expectations of a PCM tune or who or what mods they put on there car. Now we will review on a case by case basis and every one is entitled to a fair shot of explaining why . But since I've sold over 100 tunes in the last 6 months for all kinds of GM's and not had to refund 1 customer there will not be a reason.

just a question.. what if you have a mail in tune for your mods but want to "touch up" the tune.. how much would that cost.. just wondering bc its not like the tune has to be completely redone

$350 for a dyno tune is cheap money! Just dyno time alone to tune a car properly would cost that much. Throw someone tuning in there, and that's usually more than $350! Any chance you would like to come to Charleston, SC in January or February?

You can do a mail order one that is very similar to a dyno/tune. When I was there yesterday, Matt from Tune Time said he could have you send him you pcm, he would tune it, send it back, you can get on a dyno, send him the results w/ your pcm, and then he would adjust it in the areas that are needed. Just a thought.

I had an extra PCM that i sent to them to tune and the results are amazing!

can these "tunes" be reverted back to stock easily for the trips to the dealership?

good reason not to be. Me and my friend just drove from ohio picking up a GT28R turbo srt-4 and it made 433 whp on pump there when we brought it back here to longisland and dynoed it and it only made 380 whp before breaking up and having to back off. tune worked great over there but not so hot over here. Mail order tunes the only way i can see it have to be made on the safer side cause you dont know where your gonna be sending it off too. i wouldn't want to have kids calling my shop up trying to hold me liable cause there tune was for 12.1 a/f in warm weather at a high altitude than the person who orderd it was at sea level and its 30 degrees out side at night car ran lean at 7400 rpms and blew the motor. thats an extreme and unlikely senario but you get the point.

I here you but can promise you that our order from ask's some specific questions like where you live and altitude . Also the differance between your Srt-4 is that only guessing here but I'm 99% sure it had a stanalone or piggy back unit to manipulate the factory pcm there for not be able to adjust commanded a/f and timing table's like the stock PCM in the cobalt . Also unlike some other mail order PCM's we don't remove the factory protection areas that should never be touched . BTW you should note the numbers in your post are your's not ours ;)

All updates are free unless you want it dyno tune then you will pay for the dyno time . [At a discounted rate of coarse .]

I think Mail order tunes are fine as long as the person whos purchasing it aren't mad when there tune isn't squeezing out every possible HP they want it to. if thats what there expecting what there looking for is a custom tune.

Now the best way to take advantage of a mail order tune is to get some scanning software or put it on a dyno so we can nail the tune and you have all of the cost savings of getting it via mail with trust that no one's going to blow up your car . But I can tell you that we blew away a competitors mail order tune with our mail order tune .

Hell ya you did if your talking about the competitors tune i sent you. With out changing any mods and restricting power for my nitrous kit at the time my car was way more responsive, hell of alot more bottom end tq. and pulled all the way to redline way harder then before! Great job TTP!
