Does anyone know what the color restrictions are for Neon/LED lights in North Carolina? I am new on here i may not be in the right thread.

 

i believe all states its illegal to have them on the outside of the car... you can have any color jsut dont drive with them on. the inside you can drive with them on if there not bright enough to see from the outside. Red Blue mostly will get you in the most trouble. dont quote me tho :d

if there standard neons or leds that i sell you wont get caught unless you get pulled over and leave them on... otehrwise you'd be ok. i have leds if intrested best $$ can buy and there cheep. let me know! $13.50 for 50 dont buy radioshack:P

email or call your local sheriff's office ... that is what i did and they replied to me saying that you can have any color except for red and blue ... so i printed out the letter and keep it in my car so no one bothers me
